Well received on arrival. Very comfortable room, excellent car parking Extremely comfortable bed, balcony outside, central for the town, lake and surrounding forests.the access to the lift was user friendly and full spa facilities. Slightly overpowering smell of chlorine from the pool into the hallways

What a great place to stay. We came for 3 nights as it was just a base so we didn't use the restaurant or the spa but the hotel was lovely and clean throughout. The room was ample big enough and we booked a lake view room. Worth the extra if your budget allows. The town was very picturesque with... More

I stayed there a couple of times in the winter time. I was pleased with the room and the lake view Sauna and swimming are a real advantage. Restaurant is OK not more and people could be more smily. Not a problem

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in July 2016. The town of Bagnoles is beautiful and is a great base to explore Swiss Normandy. The hotel, rooms, spa facilities, parking and breakfast were all of a high standard, and the view over the lake was lovely. We thought the hotel was great value for money and we will... More

We booked this hotel last minute as a four night stop over en route to the Loire, staying with our two children. What a find! Lovely location (our large and very clean & quiet room) had a beautiful view across the lake. Ideal location to explore this very pretty town with lots of restaurants. Pool was great, only slight downsides... More

This hotel is a nice place to stay and has a great location looking out over the lake. There is a spa but we didn't use it. Rooms are well sized and modern but ask for a lake view with terrace if they are available. Makes a big difference. Nice bar terrace too. We enjoyed our stay here.

Very nice hotel. Staff are friendly, room very quite with lake view. Pool and sauna also very clean and even in summer time it's not overcrowded. it's situated in the center of the town, near casino, tourism office, thermal, park, lake, hippodrome, forests etc..Highly recommended this hotel for a peaceful weekend.

Staff treated us very well during our stay, allowed us in with our feral children and equally feral Springer Spaniel, didn't blink once when we asked for dinner early, nor when my kids were drowning everyone. In truth, it was delightful, a place where they allow you to speak French, no matter how bad, and treat you as though you've... More

The Beryl wants to be a luxury spa hotel, but it's the little things that keep it stuck at three star. No fridge and no safe in the room tells you we're three star, but no tea-making facilities - gasp, how are we Brits supposed to stay hydrated? Instead of a kettle bizarrely, there is a steamer to reheat meals... More
