the hotel is just outside of the town centre with a huge free carpark It is quiet at night. convenient for the town centre, huge supermarkets and tunnel but only if you have a car. It is always friendly, the food is the usual Ibis menu but more beer in the bar for beer lovers.

This is a very convenient hotel for the Calais Ferry Port. The friendly staff at the reception gave us a map with directions on taking the back road from the hotel into the ferry port which took less than 10 mins. The hotel is outside of the centre of town, but the advantage of this is that it has a... More

Very basic, as expected, can also get very hot during summer months. No air conditioning, not even enough fans for guests to borrow when the weather is hot. Leaving the window open for the night means trying to sleep in a very hot and noisy room. The location is near but not exactly next to the eurotunnel, about 15min drive.... More

We stopped over here one night whilst waiting for the ferry home what a nice little hotel clean great location price not to bad. We caught the ferry from Dunkirk this hotel is less than 30 mins away and only about 5 from Calais ferry port. Great staff. Only 4 stars because of the price 70€ but it was worth... More

Hottest room I've ever stayed in... Makes a sauna feel like a freezer. It must have been 10C hotter in the room than outside. Windows only cracked open due to them being chained together to keep the unwanted out... No AirCon, No Fans, and No Air. How much it cost to put a fan in the room or install ceiling... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry the nice weather we have had during the end of August was a nuisance to you. Stopped here on our way. After a long 8 hour journey from the N West. Nice room - basic but that's what you get. Friendly staff and a nice little bar - very well needed. The IBIS is a good basic hotel.

Clean rooms, comfortable, professional and friendly staff at reception and restaurant. Quiet location with lot of parking places (free). A few minutes to the car ferry crossing. Great place to spend the night if crossing either way. Include breakfast in your booking to enjoy the buffet breakfast which encourages healthy eating with takeaway fruit packages....

My stay at Ibis Calais was pleasant for the most part. There was the lack of amenities (they don't even provide soap in the bathrooms), they use old-fashioned keys, and there was only one power outlet in the room. However, the service was good for the most part - especially the evening staff, who were terrific. My issue is with... More

So we arrived from a long days trip from London to Calais and we were greeted by an unpleasant smell of damp in one of the rooms! The dinner was tasty but overpriced and the breakfast was average. Disappointed! The rooms were cramped and could barely move around.
