Found this superb hotel in Niort on our way to Bordereaux, it’s perfectly situated in the centre of the town near restaurants and bars. Perfect location to investigate the town also, that said it is a lovely town. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and very reasonably prices too. The breakfast was €8 and again great value. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are passing near Niort. Also our bikes were locked in the court yard and very secure there.

We visited this hotel on our way to the south. Small price, small room, small bed, small wifi, small breakfast (but ok for the small price 7 Euro/person). Positive ... it's in the city center and you can walk in the city or visit a restaurant ... Negative ... you have to use the public parking at about 200 metres. No problem, but good to know.

We stayed here on the night that France won the World Cup. The owner was extremely accommodating, facilitating us with fans for our rooms as there is no AC. The location is perfect, right in the city centre with parking approximately 3-4 minutes walk away (also very cheap). Breakfast the following morning was substantial. We would recommend and would definitely stay here again if we return to Niort.

Really nice hotel in the centre of the pedestrian area and close to all attractions and restaurants. The decor is amazing. No lift so if you are on the third floor then be prepared for a hike. Room wasnt ready when I arrived but these things happen.

If you are willing to visit the Niort region and the "marais poitevin" make a stop in this charming hotel. I spent few weeks (even months) over there for business. the Prigent (the owners) are wonderfull. They are taking care of you from breakfeast to the evening, making sure everything goes well. Rooms are always really well decorated (and during my stay I had the possibility to try few of them). Located in the center of Niort (in the pedestrian area - so really quite at night) and really close by all the main restaurants
