Stayed here for three nights in early June 2023 to explore the area by car. Check in was easy but it was a lot harder finding my room which was numbered “00” and while there were signs indicating where the rooms were “00” wasn’t listed and wasn’t next to room “01” which is where I would have expected it to be and eventually found it next to room 27.

This is one of the older style original Campanile hotels and was fine for the three nights I stayed there. The room was basic but functional with a comfortable bed, desk, a couple of chairs and a desk. There was a decent closet area and a dated but functional bathroom.

The only issue I had were a few bugs in the bathroom but it may be a strange thing but as I was in Europe for three months I too a half empty can of bug spray and air freshener.

The location like most of these properties was on the outskirts of town but there was a boulangerie opposite and a couple of restaurants nearby within walking distance.
For the price I paid it was what I expected and served the purpose.

Part of the budget chain perfectly fine for the passing traveller as an over night resting halt.

Room adequate and functional with aircon and a decent bathroom, kettle but no cups or drink materials.

A little bit remote on a main road so for those of limited mobility not much to do other than watch the traffic, wifi good.

Value and adequate.

I like the Campanile chain. You know you are getting a big bed, sufficient facilities for a night or two, but with no frills. The food at this one was good with a wide choice, even if the menu itself is still as difficult as ever to fully understand. There was a good selection of wine too. It was disappointing to see that the outside of the hotel block badly needs some redecoration. It looked like it had not been done for many years.

I am giving a review although we did not stay. We made a reservation, turned up to check in and given our keys. Entered the room which had cobwebs and the aircon did not work. The receptionist came to the room and offered us another. We decided to give them another chance. This room was worse... A dead fly in one of the two singles, blood stains on the sheets with human hair in one of the beds, damp on the wall and the beds felt damp to touch. I asked for a refund and left straight away.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely,

After a long drive from Dieppe I arrived tired and hungry, front of house & waiter Christophe was fantastic efficient and polite, he even translated that evenings menu in English for me as my French is poor. Great relaxing steak and frites, off at 7am the next day back to Spain. Simple Clean Friendly Affordable - thanks

On Check-in I was only asked for my creditcard. No welcome or something like that. Waitress in restaurant was friendly. Around 11PM in all hotel rooms went out. There was no backup system! When I spoke on the phone and later face to face with the night receptionist he told me that he could do nothing about it, after all he was no technician. My wife is during the night dependent on a breathing machine that didn’t work of course. I explained that to the receptionist but it obviously didn’t bother him. It was not his problem. Needless to say that my wife had a very difficult night till 6 AM when the electricity cam on again. Also on checkout nobody apologized for the inconvenience. Campanile, low prices doesn’t mean that you don’t have to care about your guests!

If you like cracked porcelain in your bathroom, this place is for you. The room was grubby and the decoration very tired. The air conditioning didn't work and the main support of one bed was broken, causing it to creak all night. The room smelt of smoke and the floor was sticky. The shutters filthy as can't be cleaned. Paid 69 euro, not good value. The place needs total renovation.

This hotel is more on the motel line with externally accessed rooms in a two storey building. Although designated a 3 * hotel, the rooms are a bit cramped but with TV, heating/air conditioning and tea & coffee making facilities. There are no bedside tables or shelves which was bit awkward and only bath towels, no hand towels.
The restaurant had a wide choice of meals including buffet starters and desserts and proved to be good quality and value for money. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Overall, good value for a short stay.

We booked the hotel for 5 adults, one double room, and one triple room as a one night stop over. The triple room only had 2 single beds in, along with 2 drinking cups, 2 towels, 2 duvets etc. When we went to reception to explain that we booked a triple room, they explained there was nothing they could do until the manager was in the next morning, but they would send someone to the room. When the maid arrived she pulled out a child's size single bed with a thin blanket, and said that was it. We explained we had booked the room for 3 adults, and one would struggle to fit onto a child's bed of that size, which did not even have a duvet. We then asked the maid for another duvet, to which she refused and then pretended not to understand anything else we said. We were not allowed extra cups, towels, tea even though the room was booked for 3 people!

As if this was not bad enough, the room was a state. The bathroom had clearly never been cleaned, and had dirt and hairs from the previous lodger, and there were piles of dust in every corner of the room, you could not walk around without shoes on even in the bathroom. The next morning we went to find the manager, to which again we were told was not there, but as we had a place to be the next day we left, and planned to take this further once we arrived at our destination.

We telephoned the management, where we were given an e-mail address we had to send our full complaint to. Since then we have e-mailed over 5 times, each chasing up the previous e-mails to which we have had no response. It is awful customer service, and as we had pre booked online they took the full payments for both rooms without our consent. This hotel is untrustworthy and you definitely do not get what you pay for. Do not visit this hotel. Ever.

Spent a night here recently on a long drive from England to Southern Spain. Typical Campanile but just what you need for a stopover. Clean, efficient check in, large bathroom and decent sized towels. Nice to have coffee making facilities. We asked for a ground floor rooms at the back as we had our two small dogs with us and there is a grassed area to let them run around first and last thing. Didn't use the restaurant but it was full when we checked in and if you don't want breakfast at the hotel there is a baker/cafe across the road for a coffee a day croissant in the morning.
