This is one of the older style original Campanile hotels and was fine for the three nights I stayed there. The room was basic but functional with a comfortable bed, desk, a couple of chairs and a desk. There was a decent closet area and a dated but functional bathroom.
The only issue I had were a few bugs in the bathroom but it may be a strange thing but as I was in Europe for three months I too a half empty can of bug spray and air freshener.
The location like most of these properties was on the outskirts of town but there was a boulangerie opposite and a couple of restaurants nearby within walking distance.
For the price I paid it was what I expected and served the purpose.
Room adequate and functional with aircon and a decent bathroom, kettle but no cups or drink materials.
A little bit remote on a main road so for those of limited mobility not much to do other than watch the traffic, wifi good.
Value and adequate.
The restaurant had a wide choice of meals including buffet starters and desserts and proved to be good quality and value for money. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Overall, good value for a short stay.
As if this was not bad enough, the room was a state. The bathroom had clearly never been cleaned, and had dirt and hairs from the previous lodger, and there were piles of dust in every corner of the room, you could not walk around without shoes on even in the bathroom. The next morning we went to find the manager, to which again we were told was not there, but as we had a place to be the next day we left, and planned to take this further once we arrived at our destination.
We telephoned the management, where we were given an e-mail address we had to send our full complaint to. Since then we have e-mailed over 5 times, each chasing up the previous e-mails to which we have had no response. It is awful customer service, and as we had pre booked online they took the full payments for both rooms without our consent. This hotel is untrustworthy and you definitely do not get what you pay for. Do not visit this hotel. Ever.
