Our second visit; this time with the family who were comfortably ensconced in a two roomed suite. The view is unrivalled and the hotel epitomises everything good about a traditionally family-run small French hotel. High season means half board terms and there is no choice on the set menu. Not much of a problem however because the food is generally... More

The hotel boasts a great location directly opposite a sandy beach and a short walk from the local bars and restaurants. However, it is on a fairly steep hill with quite a lot of steps and different levels so would probably not be suitable for people with mobility problems. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Our room was basic... More

Lovely small hotel tucked up a steep side street within 2 minutes of the beautiful sandy beach, and 10 minutes leisurely stroll to the restaurants and shops lining the sea front. Very comfortable, tastefully decorated and modernised, clean and spacious. Huge terrace overlooking the bay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke some English. Fortunately there is parking... More

The hotel is less than 10mns walk from the center of Bandol. 2mns from the beach. The rooms are clean. Practically all have a balcony facing the sea. Most rooms have been redone lately . Ask for the big rooms (a bit more expensive): I believe 1&3. Breakfast is served on the terrace. Restaurant is average.

This is a family run hotel and they make you feel like family! The room was awesome. We stayed in room #1 and it was large, modern, and very comfortable. The terrace looks out over the Med with an unobstructed view. We brought a breakfast tray up to the room and enjoyed two wonderful mornings watching the boats in the... More

Booked on short notice on a tour with my convertible through the French Alpes and along the Côte D´Azur, my aim was to find good midrange room in the center of the village/city with a locked garage or parking area for my (valuable) car. The last was the hardest to evaluate on my daily search, therefore I highlight this point.... More

We booked two nights at Les Galets, because it was and still is the #1 hotel in Bandol. We took the most expensive room, #1, which costs €168 (135 GBX, 200 US) at the height of the season. This room has recently been refurbished to a very high standard: nice shower room, separate WC, all brand new, excellent double glazed... More

Not knowing where to find a nice place to stay we stumbled across Les Galets and were unsure as it only offered "half pension" (with evening meal and breakfast included. Our room had a fabulous sea view, un-obscured and far enough from the town center 10 min walk to be able to hear the sea crashing on the shore without... More

I stayed here on my recent trip to Bandol. It's fantastic. Lovely setting with charming staff and good restaurant.I had room 1 with a large balcony and lovely view of the sea. This hotel doesn't have a swimming pool but is well situated for the beach and family run.I will stay again and the restaurant was good too.

Nice family run hotel rated as two star which undersells it. Decor is old as are room furnishings but is well maintained. The bedrooms are bright and have excellent views right down to the seaside. Hotel also has parking which is a must in this area. Nice terrace to eat breakfast which is standard continental style. The restaurant is fine... More
