We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at L'Eveche which was a fascinating house filled with beautiful and interesting art and other objects to look at. Our room was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable, in addition to staying cool even though it was very hot outside while we were there. Very pleasant and delicious breakfast on the lovely patio. Nice owners. We...

If you want to stay in a beautiful and charming B&B in the Medieval City in Vaison-la-Romaine, this is the place! Lovely hosts Jean Loup and Aude help get you parked and settled with much good advice on the local area. We sat on the deck of the Solanum room and looked at the enormous stars in the beautiful night...

I am going to start with the positives: This is a beautiful ancient village The property is amazing with lots of history, artwork and is really quite funky. The owners are really nice people, the breakfast is simple but very nice, great views from the restaurant area, and overall it is very very good value for your euro. What could...

The medieval part of Vaison-la-Romaine gives a special historical perspective of the city. A real sense of history in found in the family home L'Eveche which is located about halfway up the hill of the medieval city. The B&B is filled with an assortment of beautiful antiques and has a reading room of interest for guests. Breakfasts were special with...

Aude and Jean-Loup were gracious hosts for our brief stay at their centuries-old residence located in a medieval hilltop city. I wish we had planned to stay longer. We arrived early but took a chance on ringing the buzzer and were allowed to check in. You should inquire in advance if you may be arriving early or late. We parked...

First, we arrived quite late after being stuck in a nasty traffic-jam near Avignon, and didn't realize we needed to call - it took us a bit to find the place as it was dark and the streets are very dark, and the sign isn't lit - so we wandered a bit - though we were lucky enough to find...

We regret spending only 3 nights at this lovely, beautifully decorated B&B which was once a bishopric. Located in Vaison-la-Romaine’s upper medieval city, we found it very quiet & atmospheric at night. Charming hosts Aude & Jean-Loup delight in suggesting places to visit; a truly lovely helpful couple. Delicious breakfasts were enjoyed on the terrace with views overlooking the lower...

We stayed for two nights as a 'rest day' treat during a three week family cycling trip and having just come over Mont Ventoux. It was a great choice - a really special historic building filled with books and art posters. There was a safe courtyard for the bicycles and everything was easy to get to on foot - we...
