I wrote this review whilst staying in La Ferme for my third night before flying home. Sadly I injured myself on the pistes, so am icing my injury and enjoying the fabulous views from this hotel and restaurant. If you haven't been to La Clusaz before, it is an exceptionally picturesque and small French village located near five excellent ski...

La Ferme is a great restaurant and hotel - combining the benefit of ski in and ski out (about 400 metres above village on main piste) whilst only being 10 mins walk from the bars and shops in town. I must start with the staff- nothing was too much trouble, from Anouck and Stefan (owners) to all the restaurant staff,...

This is a very well run hotel and, for us, was a perfect overnight stop. Friendly staff and good food, with a great range of choices and prices. Local wine is available, for once, at a reasonable cost. Impressive service for a busy restaurant. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was that only one bath towel...

Just back from a mid-March long weekend ski break and we are already talking about placing another booking at La Ferme for next year. La Ferme is, at its heart, a fantastic slope-side restaurant with some B&B rooms downstairs. That said - where better to get a room than 30 seconds walk upstairs to the best restaurant in town?!! (I...

Spent one week in this hotel with the family during mid winter break. It is a gemm! The team is amazing, friendly and always doing there best to help and accommodate. Food is superb and prices are very reasonable. In summary, a great 2 stars hidden hotel (only 12 rooms), on the ski slope (ski in and out) with a...

Lovely food and service. Fast, efficient and tasty. Try the Cafe Gourmand if you want a coffee and desert - you'll get several deserts with your coffee. I return to this place again and again and I am yet to be anything but delighted with it. Nice touches such as cutting cured meats at the bar, sweets at the end...

Four of us eat La Ferme at our 1st night in La Clusaz, and it was so good we went again on our last night. The atmosphere is very warm, with an authentic French-Ski feel. The quality of the fresh food, served by attentive staff is wonderful. The wine list in hand-written books is typical of their attention to detail.

I've eaten here many times over the years - but never stayed so can't comment on that side. My advice is to always book during busy periods as its never empty. The food is great at the moment (it has varied in standards over the years) the staff attentive but not pushy and the atmosphere is buzzy. The food itself...

I stayed here for 3 nights in August, in Room 3. The Hotel itself is rustic, especially the restaurant. The balcony outside was a nice place to enjoy coffee in the morning. Breakfast was standard french fare, bread, cheese, meat, yoghurt, coffee and juice. Staff were helpful and friendly. I must agree with the poster below however in saying that...

The prior reviews about the staff being polite and views are spot on but one point that seemed to be missed was the noise level in the rooms. The walls between the rooms and the ceilings do little to limit noise transfer. Keeping in mind there is a restaurant on the top level this is problematic. Additionally we had a...
