This was our first time in Les Gets for MTB holiday (normally we stay around Les Arcs/Tignes or 3 Valleys, however, I am happy to say it was the best MTB trip so far thanks to amazing mountain biking as well as amazing accommodation. When it comes to accommodation the Chalet is really nice, decorated in traditional Alpine style and always immaculate. We stayed in the large room on a ground floor with kitchenette and spare bunk room. The room was perfect size and had large glass door leading straight to garden and therefore to the hot tub - very convenient after all day MTB. Food was always delicious. I am pescatarian my husband full on carnivore - the food varied from asian to french to british classics - all very tasty and we never went to bed hungry - the portions were big enough, accompanied by wine of choice. Wednesday is traditionally no dinner day/the day off for chalet staff, Chris recommended restaurant La Fruitière des Perrières - if you like cheese I massively recommend going there. It is nice family restaurant, food and atmosphere was really nice. The Chalet itself is about 10 mins of slow stroll up a small hill to Les Gets city centre. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, but to be perfectly honest we were riding all day almost every day for 2 weeks, so normally we would only stop off for a beer on a way back after day's riding, and although intentions were there - we could not be asked to go back to town after dinner, because we had all we needed in the chalet - honestly fridge with beer, wine and soft drinks, very comfortable sofas, balcony with a view of surrounding mountains and Netflix! Chris and Beth (the chalet owners) were great hosts - friendly, attentive with tonne of great advice on where to go and what to do. Chris tagged along to couple of enduro rides with us as well as to the full Portes du Soleil loop which was great - the more the merrier when one has to actually pedal up the hill, and also he is super knowledgeable of many local places and stories which also lightens up the pedalling part :D (as you can tell I am not that much of a fan of big uphill pedalling) If you are more interested in running Beth is a keen trail runner knowledgeable of trails around. The MTB is immense bike parks everywhere, Les Gets is a bit rougher due to breaking bumps in places, runs down to Morzine are in a forest - simila to what you would get in Wales (just a lot longer). Our favourite part was around Super Morzine, fast flowy and fun. From Chatel onwards to Swiss side, things get steeper and bigger, but still rideable - just may take couple of runs to adjust. As long as you stay on Blues and Reds everything has chicken runs, after unintentionally riding couple of blacks - even these tend to have option of smaller or bigger feature so most is rideable, just a lot steeper and faster. In our 2 weeks/12 days of riding, we have covered maybe half of all available trails so you will not get bored. And of course there are so many enduro loops options. So to summarise, it was needed and fun break with tonne of great riding and amazing accomodation! Thank you Chris, Beth and Tomos for making our trip perfect!

We had an amazing few days staying with Chris and Beth, they both couldn't have been more accommodating. The chalet was welcoming and comfortable and the food excellent. The Les Gets and surrounding towns are a Mecca for mountain biking and we were not disappointed by the quality and quantity of trails available or the alpine scenery and architecture. A definite highlight was completing the PDS route. Chris and Beth are excellent hosts and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending a stay with them.

Extremely well looked after by hard -working Alyssa,Elin and Georgie who were amazing chalet hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they provided delicious breakfasts and 3 course meals for a group of vegans, meat eaters, Gluten free and kids meals! Their cakes were fantastic and a joy to look forward to after a hard day skiing! We had a wonderful holiday, the Chalet was a perfect location for the slopes and Beth was very helpful with topping up ski passes and arranging ski hire and transfers. I would highly recommend chalet Adventure and hope to go back next year.

Lovely chalet - all transfers, ski hire and additional activities organised for us. Food included 3 courses with wine and option of a cheese board every night. We enjoyed a Mexican themed night one night and looked forward to the lovely cakes in the afternoon. 10 minute walk to the ski hire and start of the slopes or there is a free bus up to town. Highly recommended. Thank you.
