My 3rd time in the apartments, and still great value. We booked as a group of 4, and because we booked well in advance, it worked out about £140 each for the week. WHERE ELSE will you get a comfy, clean bed, linen and towels...More
First ever review on TA but felt so let down with the description of this place, felt the need to give honest opinion.
We booked a 3 bed duplex F8, which is for 8 people. Only being a family of 6 there should have been...More
We have just returned from our second visit. The apartments are on the edge of the village but with a free bus service to the lift every 15 minutes this is no problem.
There was everything we needed in the apartment and the children loved...More
3rd year in Samoëns, 3rd stay in Lagrange.
The resort is brilliant for families, and all the local services are staffed by brilliantly friendly, tourism aware, multilingual employees.
Lagrange itself is great, and having read a few reviews, I'm not sure what they were expecting....More
Came here in Feb half term. Whilst it's an okay place the quality is like you would find in a basic 2 star b&b.

Hi guys. The bus journey takes about 5 minutes and runs from before the grand massif express (gme)lift opens in the morning and they run until it closes. The grand massif express runs on a little bit later than the hill lifts so there is time to have a quick drink at Samoens 1600. You wouldn't want to stay up at 1600 any later than the last gme lift as you would then be stuck. In the event you needed to walk, which I can't see happening, it would probably take about 20 minutes, but I have never done it. I wouldn't fancy it in ski boots, I'm too soft for that.
Early evening is my favourite drinking time in the village, still in my ski gear. It's at its busiest then.
The apartments are great value for money, we have booked now for the 5th year in a row.
I like the aspen cafe in the evening right after skiing. Later on I go to coveys Irish pub. There is a Sherpa shop just a 5 minute walk away from the apartment and they sell pretty well all you need, or if you need a big shop there is. Carrefour supermarket just outside town. Tiffany bakery is amazing.
If your flying into Geneva and hiring a car, make sure you hire on the Swiss side and not the French side. The drive is very easy and takes about an hour.
If you have any more questions, just ask.
You will have a great time in certain.
