We only popped in for a meal in the restaraunt one night and it looked ok inside,if a bit quiet. Service was quick but not very friendly, dont know if they were bored because of lack of diners. Food was ok but not huge portions and desserts were very poor and a bit tasteless apart from creme brulee. Not too bad...

On arrival we were not welcomed; keys plonked down on desk leaving us to ask where the lift was, where breakfast was etc Grumpy Monsieur (owner)! However I was very pleased with our room: spacious with a double balcony and nice ensuite. Breakfast was good with the usual buffet items and boiled eggs if desired. The Location suited us very...

Our party had 2 twin rooms next to each other for a week's skiing trip in February. The location of the hotel is excellent; next to restaurants and bars for evenings out and only a short walk to the ski bus. The hotel has a nice bar and the breakfasts were adequate. The rooms were basic but clean enough but...

The hotel is right in the centre of Samoens so close to restaurants, shops etc. It is near the ski bus stop so ideal as a base for skiing. Breakfasts are fine if not brilliant and the rooms are pleasant with comfy beds, good bath / shower and plenty of space. Parts of the hotel are a little tired but...

A very nice, traditional hotel in a great location with lovely staff who were very helpful and welcoming. Checking in and out was really fast and the hotel is near to two ski bus stops - and therefore only 5 minutes ride to the nearest telecabine. We had an amazing fondue dinner in the restaurant with fantastic service. Surprisingly, the...

I booked this hotel for my husband and son to spend time together and so some serious biking. They found the hotel very welcoming, good breakfast, good swimming pool, excellent location and a lovely room with bath/shower and balcony. The lady owner was helpful and friendly.

We visited this hotel to watch the Euro Cup 2016. We were surprised they had a large screen TV set up on the patio and a Mojito Bar to go with it. Service was good, prices reasonable. I would recommend stopping in for a drink in the afternoon after 5 pm during the week.

By far the best feature of this hotel is the location which is central to Samoens. The rooms are clean, although ours had a bad smell reminiscent of damp. Staff were attentive but could have been friendlier. The restaurant was nothing to write home about and I would advise eating out and considering avoiding breakfast and going to one of...

Just come back from a long weekend snowboarding. My friends and I stayed in one of their Superior Triple rooms. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location and is right in the town. 10 minute walk to the lift or you can catch the bus from just outside. The room was good...
