Samoens was a good choice for a ski holiday. The apartment we stayed in was well equipped and had good space. The tile floor was cold without floor heating and the furniture in the living room was uncomfortable. The internet was bad. The SPA was nice and the pool big enough, but I did not like the idea of having...

Nice place, well located smack bang between the Gondola lift and the town of Samoens. Well suited for a ski holiday, the apartments do the job they have been built to do without any frills. They are well equipped and my only complaint was the internet is only set up for one computer. if you want more you have to...

Just got back from a great holiday with our 2 young boys. One in ski school the other we put on the local nursery (garderie) which I wasn't so sure about at first. They were well organised very friendly and our son 15 months had such a great time playing with peers. It was around 35€ per day which isn't...

La Reine des Pres( Queen of the Lands) offered our group of 13 a perfect base for a 4 day ski holiday in Samoens. Perfectly located between the village and the telecabin, we were thankful for the short walk following hard days on the slopes. The apartments were very comfortable, especially the beds and had very well equipped kitchens. The...

We have been to Samoens a few times for our winter skiing break and when this complex opened we thought we would give it a try due to the close proximity to the lift and not needing to get the ski bus. La Reine des pre has excellent rooms for reasonable prices and the pool and jaquzzi is great after...

We are a family of four staying here over Christmas 2012 and we are very impressed by our lovely 3 room apartment for 6 people on the top floor in D block. We have lovely comfortable beds, most welcome after a hard day skiing on the Grand Massif. The apartments are warm, secure, quiet and clean. They are well located,...

Nice apartments, fairly new and well equiped including the kitchen. . Spa and Pool are superb, great to relax in after a days sking and spotlessly clean. Communal lounge on ground floor, stylish and inviting in front of the wood burning fire. Rooms well laid out and adequately sized with tasteful decor. Integrated car park in the basement is accessed...

We spent a week here and loved it. Excellent location - beautifully quiet - a real haven. Top tip is to discover 'Le Veau Gras' - traiteur partenaire - early on in your stay so you can buy in home cooked meals each evening at good prices, and to go for at least a 3 bed apartment - not least...

Agree with most comments in previous 2 reviews in that property was clean, well equipped and situated. Staff were helpful and spa is excellent. We were 6 adults in a 3 bed appt. Edelweiss Aptt 1. One en-suite and one extra shower room and separate loo. The bedrooms are small, could only just squeeze between beds and wall. There is...
