Very friendly chalet where Christian and Jean-Jacques have looked very well after us. Breakfast and Dinner are very well organised based on the food allergies of one us (Gluten free). We called upfront and they arrange even car park space without asking We were able to ski in and out of the hotel (it was snowing but if not 10 meters in and 50 metres out of the slopes) Very quiet part of Tignes where you can relax after a long day of ski

The rooms were fine well decorated but the rooms were far to warm at night so either had to get the freezing air to come in or sleep without a duvet. The showers were pretty awful and the plugs didn't work. The staff were good, there was an English bar maid who was very nice and brought loads of charm but the man en charge of the bar was stressed and being a bit rude. When we wanted to put so music on he said no and rolled his eyes while still wanting to watch lumber jacking! The food was OK, every night you had soup where either OK or a bit disgusting. They gave us a lot to eat like a whole huge bowl of soup and a big main meal which was normally OK again! After you don't finish these two meals they kind of roll their eyes and take it personally. There also wasn't any service for vegetarians it was just a salad and cheese. The downstairs living area was good they had poker and stuff so we could play games but we had to either leave to go to another place or go to sleep as their licence only went on to 11 o clock and maybe even earlier if the staff were all grumpy. That sucked a lot. When i was sick for the day they were being quite rude, i had put the Do Not disturb sign and the cleaner came in 'GET PUT OF HERE I NEED TO CLEAN NOW'.The resort was very good just the hotel was quite bad if you want to go to this resort you should go to CGH. La Marais or la kazzelas just not really this place. Sorry Audery and Christian if your seeing this

We didn't stay here but came for a family meal as Hotel Chalet Les Melezes does not offer food for half of the week. The hotel offers a lot of traditional food from the region as well as burgers. We had the plat du jour with crudités to start, beef and frites and fromage, chocolate brownie or ice cream. The food was very nice as was the service and atmosphere, very enjoyable.

We have just returned from a fantastic week's holiday staying at this large chalet/ small hotel in a quiet part of Tignes.Tignes is a great ski area with efficient uplift and fantastic skiing..We travelled as a family (2 adults and 2 kids aged 13 and 11) with another family whose kids are 11 and 9. Our family room was well laid out with enough storage. The shower room was tiny but clean. In current snow conditions it is possible to ski to the door and slope access in the morning is a 2 min walk to ski down to 1800 or you can take the short bus trip to 2100. The staff are a fantastic group of young men who were warm and accommodating and great with the kids. Evening meals were lovely and there were hot options at breakfast and cake +/- soup for afternoon tea every day. Thanks to manager Jimmy, chef John, Ed, Rob, Jimmy, Lewis and the rest of the Dome boys for a fun and memorable week

A fantastic location and chalet. The Staff were incredible, so accommodating in every way. Meals were superb, breakfast cooked to order. The "Dome Boys" were fantastic it was like a home from home. Aperitifs every evening together with a really splendid cooked evening meal a real treat! The chef was just superb! A very short walk to the slope, transport easy to get into central Tignes, a fab location. Thank you guys a great holiday xx
