Nice small hotel with an easy ski in, ski out location. rooms and beds were pretty small, but very clean and decent amenities in the bathroom which had a large bath and decent shower. Breakfast was okay - scrambled eggs and sausages every day, with a selction of breads, pastries and cold meats and yougurts plus OJ and filter coffee....

I guess my disappointed comes from the 4* rating of the hotel: had I expected less, I would not have been so disillusioned. We received confirmation of our hotel booking, and discovered that checking in was at 5pm and checking out at 10am. Though our room was ready when we arrived at 3pm, the hotel staff was quick to mention...

Lovely hotel, staff went out of their way to help, super facilities and lovely food. Hot tub & sauna after a day skiing was lovely. Rooms were immaculate, spotless and very comfortable. Highly recommended

This family run small hotel opens early, at the beginning of November. It operates as a bed and breakfast until mid-December when the restaurant opens, and I got an excellent early season room rate. Check the hotel website or call direct for the best rates, I found them cheaper than the quotes from the generic booking sites. The hotel is...

We really enjoyed staying here. Perfect location - this is in the upper "Val Claret" Tigne area which I personally think is the best to stay in in Tigne. There's a ski rental place right across the street. Generally speaking, all of Tigne has a limited number of restaurants and night life but the seafood buffet on Thursday night at...

We booked here well in advanced not knowing Val Claret. When we arrived it was located amazingly right in the heart of the town and literally ski to the door when the road was covered. It is right next to two ski hire places and has short term parking right outside for you to drop your luggage off. I stayed...

We had a prestige room, which was beautiful. It was very spacious and had the feel of a cabin with large picture window looking at the mountains. The spa is great after a hard days skiing. The location is superb, you cross the road to put your skis on. the ski rental shop is also across the road and gives a...

This is a fabulous hotel, literally could not get any closer to the pistes, nearest lift is perfect for access to slopes for new skiers/boarders and for experts who want olympic slopes and off piste, so many slopes I couldn't get through them all on a week, will definitely be back. The nearest lift is also part of a free...

The Ski d'Or is allagedly the only four-star hotel in the village of Tignes Val Claret (a sort of suburb of Tignes proper). It is very conveniently located just by a short ski road down to the main lift area in Val Claret. The staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful, and mostly speak at least some English. The...
