I would actually say this place is good rather than average..but the tick box only gives me a choice of average or very good. Two minor niggles stop it being very good..one being that you have to pay for the wifi, very annoying in this day and age, and secondly, when you are in the rooms that take four people,...

Just returned from a week's skiing in Tignes. First time at the Levanna. Superb location to the piste, Christine and her staff were charm personified. Extremely well appointed, very clean, plenty of food. A superb family hotel. Surprised it is only a 3* pad - deserves better. Most enjoyable - WBM.

We have stayed at the Levanna about 8 or 9 times in as many years, since its refurbishment, and have always found it consistently welcoming and efficient. It's location could not be more convenient and it is generally a quiet and relaxing place to be, with all the comforts needed after a day on the slopes. The rooms are clean, if...

Just got back from Tignes...spent a week at the Levanna...in a family suite. Hotel is very well placed, and very well maintained...rooms were excellent. The food was adequate but portions small and not really enough to ski/board on... What was most noticeable was a lack of staff...and a total lack of atmosphere...the Hotel is the best placed in Tignes...but no...

This was my fourth stay with my family at the Levanna, the ski In Ski out location is second to none, the hotel and restaurant is above its official star rating. Food and service excellent, Christine and the staff all work extremely hard to make all guests feel welcome.

Levanna could not be in a better location in Tignes and the rooms are perfectly fine (they were surprisingly mean when it came to shampoo etc). The attitude and language of the manager/ proprietress surprised us at times (she seemed to assume that we would not understand when she swore in French) but we had a good stay. The only...

This hotel is right in the heart of Tignes, France. The owners are fantastic and really helped us out even when the taxi driver tried to overcharge us. The rooms are nice with great views! Use the stairs, because the elevator is rather slow.

Friendly hotel in a brilliant location. The run back from Val D'Isere is only suitable for experts or good intermediates (take the Aeroski lift down if you are a beginner). The food was very good considering the price paid for the hotel (don't expect top notch when paying low prices). Bar prices a little high but other bars nearby are...

We have been staying at the Levanna for a number of years now. We very much value its location, literally at the foot of the Aeroski, which is one of the main lifts out of Tignes le Lac to the slopes. It is a small family-run hotel; the rooms are comfortable if not luxurious and the spa a welcome touch...

This is the first time we have stayed in this hotel after booking our skiing holiday through Inghams. The hotel is perfectly situated next to the slopes, the views are fantastic and I would highly recommend a room overlooking the lake. The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself is clean, welcoming and very cosy. My only negetive point...
