The location was good. Ski In-and-Out, great! Out room was not very big, but we enjoyed the stay. Staffs were friednly, and foods were good. It would have been better if they have water heater. We loved the ski rental shop in the hotel. They know the "hospitality", and they were very professional. The boots and skis they rent us...

Great location : directly on the piste with a ski shop within the building so it could not be more convenient and in a very quiet area of Val Thorens, but, very near the night life and shops. Excellent staff and service, very friendly and attentive. Great breakfasts and dinners with good choice at both. Rooms spacious and very quiet,...

Have just spent 4 nights at the Mercure in Val Thorens. The hotel was perfectly placed for skiers as you could ski straight off the piste to the hotel and the ski hire shop was just underneath.I agree with other comments regarding the parking but it didn't really cause us any problems and on our last day the hotel gave...

We have stayed at Mercure for four nights over New years Eve. We stayed in a privilege room and yes, its very much a three star hotel and room, but everything was adequate. The room was spacious, with plenty of space to let your ski gear air and dry, a sofa to relax on, and also a balcony with some...

We went with a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids. Please read the fine print, there is a supplement you have to pay for 4th child. Checking in: Checkin It was fine, helpful, friendly staff. They failed to inform us that we should book a parking lot in Val Thorens at least a week ahead. FYI there are...

Thank you very much for all your remarks. You're right : we'll better inform our guests concerning the fact that Val Thorens is a pedestrian resort and they have to book absolutly a parking place, at the hotel or in public parking. I decided to try the Mercure in Val Thorens with my family for Easter, based on a half-board offer they sent me via email. I was not sure how I should book my children for this offer, so I took the time of calling the Accor hotline to check. I was told to book in a certain way, which I...

We stayed at the Mercure for a week at the end of Match. The rooms are comfortable (we had a queen bed and a fold-out couch, for our child). This is the second time I've stayed here for skiing. Spacious rooms (for 2 people) overlooking the slopes. Ski-in-out. Ski shop is on the hotel deck. 5 minutes from town center. It's one of the few places I could find that allows you to book by day, and does not require 7 day reservations during ski season.
