We had a one night stay here on our way from Annecy to Nimes which was way too short. The chateau is beautiful with lovely gardens, a heated pool and very comfortable bed. The owners have done a great job maintaining the charm and ambience of a chateau. They are very friendly and obliging and we had a very enjoyable...

We only spent a night at the chateau, one of the best. The staff are attentive, knowledgable and very friendly, the grounds are gorgeous and the rooms impeccable. Great views over re valley and an easy walk down to the village. We were made very welcome. Highly recommended !

We chose this place because of the unanimous excellent reviews in tripadvisor and indeed it was a great choice. This place is a gem ! beautiful grounds, amazing castle, rooms perfectly decorated and very comfortable. Everything is of excellent quality and the attention to detail is simply amazing. It has put the bar very high for the next hotel we...

We spent 2 days at this Ardeche haven with Marie Antoinette and Eric hosting us with our 2 friends from Canada. We began with a feast prepared by Eric and wonderful company in the beautifully restored castle in a region famous for the healing bath spas. We were pampered and made to feel at home. This was the perfect place...

For Canadians, the Ardeche is probably one of the least travelled parts of France and that's really too bad because the region features spectacular scenery, lovely small, unspoiled towns of character and, of course, great cuisine. For us, however, the highlight of our recent trip to the Ardeche was our 2 day stay at the Chateau Clement and the highlight...

My husband and I had the most wonderful two night stay here in July. It is the smallest chateau I have ever visited, with four guest rooms in the house where the family also lives (plus a couple of apartments in the grounds). The husband and wife team that lovingly and tastefully renovated the chateau some years ago are now...

We recently spent 5 nights at Chateau Clement. It was supposed to be a stopover between Italy and the Aveyron and turned out to be the best part of our trip...so we stayed several extra nights. The chateau is beautiful and perfectly maintained. The decor is absolutely perfect. Nothing is overdone and nothing has been overlooked. Marie Antoinette and Eric...

Having travelled in all corners of the world, I was truly impressed and overwhelmed by the beauty of Chateau Clément, by our spacious, artfully decorated room, by the extraordinary kindness and helpfulness of Marie-Antoinette, by the sumptuous dinner prepared by her husband Eric and by many more major and minor features of this small hotel (see the other reviews on...

I must start this review with a little brutal honesty: I did not want to book a room in the Ardeches. An ignorant American, I thought I was booking a place a little closer to the Rhone valley. But I'm glad I did, because Chateau Clement is a gorgeous, charming little 19th century Chateau in a beautiful part of the...

After driving a long way from Sweden to France, we were pleasantly surprised to check in at a magnificent French Chateau. An interesting historic place to discover, consequently we dicided to extend our stay from 2 to 3 nights. Chateau Clement has extraordinary architecture, well preserved and modernized. All rooms are very spacious, perfectly refurbished, mixing old architecture with modern...

“The rooms are very different, the ones upstairs more antique and matching the style of the house, the two big ones on the garden level more modern (but also furnished in a warm style with linen fabrics and lots of handmade cushions). We had the green garden room and were very happy with it: huge door windows, the old tree outside seemed to be in the room, very pretty.”
