From the moment we entered to the moment we left was a wow experience, just not long enough. Such beautiful surroundings at times I felt like I was in a fairy tale. The hosts were so natural and relaxed, nothing was a bother. The roaring fires in winter, beautiful food and service, all made for this very memorable mid winter...

What a find ! The perfect escape in a magestic yet homely venue where home cooking is at its finest. The hosts Sandra, Pat and Deborah can't do enough to look after you and make you feel comfortable. Lovely romantic setting for couples. A must for your bucket list.

My husband and I spent two nights here in early May. We stayed in the beautifully decorated and spacious Hunter suite on the first flour. On our first morning we enjoyed the magnificent view of the sunrise over the sea from our bed. The location of Chapelwick is stunning and peaceful. Long views over countryside to the sea set in...

We had a lovely weekend of old world charm in Chapelwick. Our room was immaculate with a beautiful sea view. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the warm and cosy evenings in front of the fire. We also enjoyed exploring the remote 'off the beaten track' area of Porangahau and Herbertsville. Definitely planning on going on back.

What a fantastic place to relax and revive. Being able to walk through the gardens and fruit trees guided by 'Monty' the dog, soaking up the fresh air was a lovely time. We enjoyed the ability to meet people from other countries over the breakfast table. Raewyn cooked a delicous dinner which we enjoyed around the dining table with other...

We have just returned from a birthday weekend at Chapelwick. What a fabulous place and such welcoming hosts. We had a lovely evening meal which was shared with other guests and Raewyn and her hubby. We spent a relaxing evening around the huge dining table swapping stories and enjoying good food prepared by Raewyn. The weather couldn't have been better...

My Partner and I stayed here over the weekend. As it was our early Christmas we decided to go to a more quiet spot, we found it! Chapelwick is a stunning old guesthouse (that is massive!). The owners went out of their way to make our dinner romantic once they found out it was for our early Christmas together, and...
