4 of us ate Sunday lunch here. £8.95 for main course and extra £2 for a dessert. Cant tell you about starters as we didnt have any. Now all I can say is the food is excellent. Beef cooked to perfection as was the Lamb. Large yorkshire, roast potatoes and a big dish of veg to share. Sticky toffee pudding...

We stayed at The Bay Horse Country Inn en route to a family event in Staithes. What a find! A delightful 18th century coaching inn which oozes charm and character. The landlord Chris and his wife Bev couldn't have been more friendly and gracious. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make our stay...

Although the room was good the breakfast was left lacking. There was cereals on the table with no breakfast bowls no milk and no spoons!!The full English was served without time to eat anything else.Other guests wanted to eat cereals with the same results! Pity. The wifi was hopeless.

A delightfully dated Inn. Eighties kitch everywhere! Superbly clean and you are made to feel completely at home from the minute you arrive. The food is amazing and the steak pie was just out of this world. Excellent location and a very enjoyable stay. Thankyou x

I've said it before this is the best place to eat in the area. Great food, great pint, great staff and great hosts. They have special deals on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, but are very affordable on the other nights too. Bev makes a great beef & Stilton pie among many other great meals. This is one place you've just...

Have to say that i would find it hard to criticise the hospitality of the bay horse. It is what it is, a great little country pub, serving super food at great prices. I live in a similar size village in Scotland, with a similar style pub, offering the same facilities of the Bay horse, however the difference is that...

This a old pub with pleasant rooms set in a pretty village that serves a good range of food. We stayed in room 7 which is towards the back of the property. The landlord and his wife were very friendly, food was great, beer also. Only niggle was the size of the TV in our room, it really was tiny.

The hotel is a country inn, situated close to the main North Yorkshire roads and provides easy access to York, Ripon and Harrogate (the latter 20 minutes on a Sunday morning). We stayed for one night as part of a family weekend in Harrogate. Accommodation was good and the beds comfortable. Dinner was very good, with large portions of well...

Absolute gem of a place! Stayed two nights, bedroom was spotless with a big TV and lots of milk for tea/coffee ( lots of places are a bit mean). Located in a quiet village near to Harrogate, very good place to base yourself. Lovely cosy pub with a friendly atmosphere, cracking breakfast and excellent value for money evening meal and...

The Bay Horse Inn is a well appointed B&B with good sized rooms and a plentiful breakfast. The landlord was really friendly and allowed us to check in late. The breakfast option is a full English, pretty much a classic no frills English fry up. Though the rooms are a tad dated it has a certain old school charm and...
