Warm welcome at Eco lodge after a 10km mostly inclined trek felt heavenly. The tents have comfortable beds and enough warm covers in case temperatures drop. They provided emergency batteries for the night. The food we had was delicious and healthy keeping in mind the physical activity involved while trekking and also high altitude. They provided everything I could possibly think...

Ghangaria is a very small town with few facilities and a few decent hotels. The campsite is based in a beautiful valley, surrounded by huge mountains, lush green landscape, small glaciers and just next to the Kanjilla helipad. It is hard to believe that they had tried to provide so much of comfort at such high-altitude Himalayan valley. The tents...

The cottages are around 600 meters before the Ghangaria town. Comfortable, well-equipped with comfortable beds, the camps have adequate lighting. The camps have an attached washroom though you can't take a bath there for obvious reasons but at 3100 meters having that much facilities in itself is exceeding expectations. The eating area is spacious and the food is really very...

We went to Ghangharia in the month of August. We stayed at the HImalayan Eco Lodges campsite. The campsite is about a km before Ghangharia and is at a very peaceful and scenic location compared to the hotels in Changharia town. The camps are comfortable with beds and attached western toilets. Hot water is available on demand. The food is...

The thought of tents always brings to my mind, dirty interiors, damp surroundings, no proper bathrooms, electricity and water starved places which are meant to somehow spend nights. Trust me, Himalayan eco lodge, Ghangharia changed that perspective. I stayed here for 3 nights as it was our base camp for Valley of flowers and Hemkund Saheb treks. There were attached...

We stayed at this camp for a couple of nights for our onward treks to Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib as a part of our fixed departure trek through Great Indian Outdoors. The camp has about 12 tents with attached bathrooms. The camp is located next to the helipad and about 600 meters before the main part of Ghangaria....

Camping site is 1 km before Ghangaria, and this 1 km is very steep. It means you need to trek for 2 km extra for the day when you go to the Valley of flowers as well as to the Hemkund Sahib. In monsoon season you will find camps not so tidy. Moreover rooms have electricity available for recharging camera...

Good Morning Ms Sharma, We have read your review and feel that your issue is with Camping as an idea in comparison to rooms. To compare a brick and mortar set up a tented accommodation is not comparing like to like. Coming to Valley of Flowers is more about being out there close to nature and away from the crowds,...

This was our first experience of staying in a tent so there is no point of reference with which to compare. however on a standalone basis, for a tent, the facilities were excellent. The tents had attached bathroom which was a plus (Tents put up by others do not have such facility) given that I was traveling with my wife....
