The is the place to come if you want tranquility, and to relax. The Old Post Office is a beautifully situated and appointed Cotswold gem. In the country but very close to all road links. Nicola and Chris are the perfect hosts. From tea and cake by the roaring log burner, to the pieces of home made fudge in your... More

I stayed with Chris and Nicola for three nights. The location is handy to all things in the Cotswolds but what I like more is that it is away from the crowds. It is peaceful, well maanged and a great place. The room was large, clean, etc. Nicola had thought of everything a traveler needed. The en suite bathroom was... More

From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel at home by hosts Chris & Nicola. The house & rooms are comfy & full of country charm - and styled with great attention to detail. The cooked breakfast included was delightful, especially the freshly picked wild berries. Nicola gave us great recommendations for dinners in neighbouring villages.... More

My husband and I had a weekend away recently in the Cotswolds and decided on "The Old Post Office" for a 2 night stay. We were greeted on the drive by Nicola and Whisper the dog, both were extremely friendly😊. We were offered tea and cake on our arrival in the lounge even though we had tea/coffee making facilities in... More

We spent 3 nights here and had a very enjoyable stay. The bedroom was large and had a lovely large bed which as very comfortable. There was in-room tea and coffee as well. Everything was spotlessly clean. The shower room was very small but usable. Breakfast was very well cooked with lots of choice from a full English to cereal.... More

Dear Both, Thank you so much for taking the trouble to write such a kind review. We loved having you all here, albeit briefly, and should be delighted to welcome you back on a future occasion. The Cotswolds are truly sensational in the Autumn! More

We booked a 2 night weekend stay as we were visiting the racehorse stables next door. From the moment I made my initial enquiry to when Nicola and the dogs waved us off on Sunday we were made to feel thoroughly welcome and nothing was too inconvenient for her and her husband. She booked our evening meals in local pubs... More

I feel it would be an injustice not to speak about our weekend stay in Adlestrop. We were offered a warm welcome and it was immediately clear we had made a good choice. The rooms are light spacious and beautifully furnished. Deep window cills with stone mullion frames and oak beams are the usual around this sleepy village. Our room... More

Last month I had my second heavenly stay in Adlestrop: the last time was in the spring. Living in a city, it was just wonderful to wake to birdsong, and the sound of racehorses gong out to exercise, in the huge blue room bed that was so comfortable it was sleeping on a cloud. I liked the fresh milk supplied... More
