This place is awesome. John the manager is more a father than manager and runs the place like a big happy family like any quality hostel. He takes a genuine interest in each and everyone of his guests. This is the worlds first ski in/out hostel that my friends and I will be returning to next year. John constantly went... More

This hostel was dirty, vomit on the toilet floor for 2 days, dirty underwear in the mens showers for days, over flowing bins. Old food left out on the kitchen side, dirty crockery everywhere. Mess all over the hostel. Mold in the overflowing fridges, no room for any of our food. Woken at 2am with heavy baselines for two hours!... More

Stayed with a group of young athletes competing at Silver Star and we were kept up literally all night by a group of very intoxicated young guests of the hostel who were trying to calm a young girl down who was bawling in the women's bathroom right beside our room. One of the staff was on a couch right outside... More

This hostel is a great option of you don't want to spend too much on accommodation and/or are planning to stay here for few weeks (or months?). Lots of mountain staff live here (young skiers and boarders that come to work and ski). The place is clean, good beds, clean bathrooms, big kitchen area. As you might expect, the only... More

this place is great value for money. We stayed here with a group of about 13 and nothing was too much trouble. The dorm rooms were small but clean and everyone was given a towel and clean linen on arrival. The bathrooms are the cleanest hostel bathrooms I have ever come across. But the absolute best part about this hostel... More

As a member of a cycling group, we have had the opportunity to stay at the SameSun a number of times and each time we find it very comfortable and clean, bathrooms are large and offer plenty of showers and stalls, kitchen is huge and offers a large eating area as well as a living and recreation area. There is... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. The hostel is kept clean, every morning their would be a member of staff cleaning the hostel and to a high standard! The bunk bed mattresses seemed brand new, their were plenty of showers and a huge kitchen area! It literally is a ski in/ski out hostel which... More

I stayed her for a week and was really happy with the location being "ski in". The place was very big and I was lucky enough to have a whole room to myself being a quiet period, though I would have been extremely crammed if my room was full sue to the size of the rooms (very small). Everything else... More

This place is big - felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Giant kitchen/eating area, multiple floors of multiple rooms, not so great common areas. The bunks were average-sized, not too small, I had a 4-bed room all to myself so that was a pretty sweet deal. Clean bathrooms and the big kitchens mean there is plenty of space... More

This place is amazing. I did an entire season there. It's clean, a really spacious common area and huge tv room. Best rooms are the single bunk beds in a room as others tend to get pretty crowded. Staff are really great and you cant beat the ski in and out location. Simply sensational.
