This 3 star hotel is in an excellent location for the ferry ports and must get a lot of international travellers staying. Yet they stick to traditional Spanish restaurant hours which are simply no good for people like us with a young family. It’s just far too late for children to eat dinner. Yes, it’s Spain, but it has to cater for ALL its guests. Breakfast was a poor selection also, and items meant to be hot were stone cold. Bedrooms were OK, but we have stayed in much better quality hotels in Spain, and indeed in Madrid for a lower price. Don’t understand why they charge so much in Hotel Los Angeles. The worst thing was the reception staff. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Not even a welcome smile on check in. All I can say is, look around for a better value place to stay.

Stayed here last week for 1 night. Bearing in mind this is during covid-related restrictions, our stay was pleasant & comfortable. Staff polite. Location good for airport (10 mins by car). Room was modern & clean. 10 euros extra for dog (provided with separate towel & treats for him, a nice touch). Bar is only open for breakfasts but terrace area (well-spaced tables) is open for evening drinks & food at reasonable prices (this hotel is not near Santander centre so not much in the area for recreation). Would stay again if collecting someone from late flight to Santander or if had an early flight out. Free parking on site too.

stayed overnight after arriving at Santander airport at 9.30 pm. A couple of miles from the airport and fairly easy to find from previously downloaded route. Just took the wrong exit on the last roundabout and had to ask directions. Receptionist very welcoming. The room was fine, excellent bathroom and interesting view from our window of nearby power station burning off gases, like four giant Bunsen burners! Safe car parking for our hire car in hotel car park. Breakfast adequate although not very exciting. Would use the hotel again for an overnight stay.
