We have been in this hotel for 4 nights, during sky vacations in February. The staff is very nice, professional and extremely helpful. They are genuinely interested in helping and making your stay very comfortable. From our arrival we were very pleased about their courtesy and welcome. We had a double room, very spacious, and very clean. In this hotel WiFi is really working well, for us a real bonus. The restaurant makes a point to offer every day a different menu, keeping quality very high. The staff in the restaurant is very professional, making a point to remember your preferences . The hotel is located at one end of the town, in a quiet area and 5' on foot from the main road. One additional very good advantage was that the card for the skilift was included in the price. All in all we think that the quality / price ratio was very good.

We did not stay in this hotel but I cannot find the hotel restaurant on Tripadvisor, hence this review. Having eaten here previously, we booked a table for dinner in the hotel restaurant. We were shown to our table and ordered drinks while we studied the menu, eventually selecting a Tyroler Leckerle (pork) and a Madagaskar steak. Both were delicious and the steak in particular was cooked just as requested. After our meal, we discovered our waitress was the daughter of the owner who was recovering in hospital after a fall. Miriam had coped very well in his absence and was very friendly as well as speaking very good English.

Located in the town of Oberstaufen in the piedmont (Allgau) of the Bavarian Alps, this hotel has it all! Enjoy the excellent cuisine in the spacious restaurant, take a swim in the indoor pool or cleanse your pores in the sauna! A nice selection of wines and drinks are served at the bar. The rooms are nicely furnished and bright, with spacious modern bathrooms. If nature is your thing, go for a hike in the surrounding area of alpine hills and meadows. The town has wonderful shops to please the most concerning visitor. A family-run business, Hotel Tyrol does not disappoint!

Good hotel, spacious room, Very old and traditional hotel, food is good, the hotel has SPA, Sauna, Steam, Swimming Pool, went there on a Winter snowing day, went out for a walk and walked to the nearby mountain and came back to the hotel via the forest route, very nice view of the town, good location. you can walk to the commercial street and there you can also find a lot of restaurants. This Town is basically located in Germany, foothills of Alps and very near to Austria and Switzerland border.

I was in nearby Weiler on business and a associate book us into this hotel. All I can say is WOW Family run excellence at its best. Great room with balcony, bar and breakfast included. There is also a restaurant for dinner with great wine and local culinary delights. Can't wait to get back and be a tourist.
