One of the most exhilarating experiences of my life, stealthily canoeing on an Amazon tributary with a guide of my own. Seeking out all of the wildlife. It was magical. Jurassic park without the baddies! Highly recommend dolphin lodge, they have a huge respect for the wildlife and as remote a location as one could wish. My wonderful guide Mo... More

The Dolphin Lodge is very good value for your money. It's very well organised. You;ll be picked up and dropped at your hotel or the airport, in the morning or in the afternoon. The accommodation is very nice and clean (with your personal frog at the WC!!). The food is good. There are hammocks to relax and you can swim... More

Our time in Dolphin Lodge was the highlight of our time in Brazil (which says a lot). Mo (our guide, and the owner) gave us an incredible glimpse into the wonders of the Amazon jungle- on our canoe trips we would paddle silently through the undergrowth for hours, seeing howler monkeys (and other types), sloths, dolphins, parrots and caiman. The... More

we loved our time at the dolphin lodge. the tours were great, the people were great. I have no problem recommending it, it's a great place to unwind and relax and is a nice family run lodge with the owner born and raised there and his family all sprinkled along the river in their houses. two things to note. 1.... We went to Dolphin Lodge for four nights as part of our honeymoon, which was an excellent decision. It was everything we were hoping for - remote, authentic, personal and unforgettable. We got picked up from our hotel in Manaus and were there only three hours later after an efficient transfer by two cars and two speedboats. The lodge is... More

We booked this trip last minute while visiting family in Rio. They were very accommodating and helpful and easy to reach. It's family owned and run. Our boys are 7 and 13 and really enjoyed all the activities, which are scheduled every morning and afternoon or night. Even the ride from the airport to the lodge was fun. It takes... More

Very good time of the year, not too busy. The lodge is rustic and has a real amazonian atmosphere (as it should be in the amazon). The rooms are always clean and mosquito nets as well as fans are provided. The food was simply amazing and the staff really go out of their way to ensure the guests are happy.... More

We just returned from a 4 day/3night visit to the Dolphin Lodge and the beautiful Mamori River. The entire visit was fantastic. So we (wife and I) booked this place after we had to cancel another booking and it turned out to be the best thing that happened to us.
