The Pastoriushaus was built in 1668 by the mayor of Bad Windsheim and father of Franz Daniel Pastorius, the leader of the first organized German immigration group to North America and the founder of Germantown near Philadelphia, PA. The building has been totally renovated and brought up to modern standards of a Pension or Bed and Breakfast. All rooms have...

Spartan! The rooms are relatively comfortable except for the lack of ventilation or air conditioning in the hotter months. The host, Frau Grimm is always friendly and helpful. She offers a sufficient breakfast at a reasonable rate. Pension Pastoriushaus is within easy walking distance of the center of Bad Windsheim which has an unusually large number of restaurants for such...

In 3.5 years we stayed here as we arrived in 2012 and departed in 2015. In 2012 we stayed in the apartment which had a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathrooms and its own door connected to the outside of the house. This was a welcome site for my young family as it was the wife and kids 1st time...

After staying here for a week, I went to check out after I found a better accommodation and the owner jacked my rate up an extra 5 euro from the previous agreed 30. After a lengthy argument the price was lowered back to it's original rate. I've conferred with other colleagues and they have reported that the service is terrible...

This was our first time at the PastoriousHaus and we truley loved it! We loved the history and look of the house. Our House Host, Frau Grimm, was fantastic. Heidi came in every breakfast and greeted every one. She helped us with whatever adventure we had planned, and called to see times on the tours, etc. We were also given...

We stayed there for almost 2 weeks in November 2013. Our hostess Heidi was very friendly and made us feel right at home. She even let me have one of her boxes of candles to bring home with me. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. They are centrally located and close to most attractions. Definitely would recommend to other tourist.

This was our first European Bed & Breakfast experience but it rivaled many of our US stays. The history of the house, the look and accommodations were without compare, but the House Host, Ms. Heidi Grimm, was truly the most phenomenal part of our stay. Ms. Grimm went out of her way to help, worked with us to stay on...

I loved this old house. The lady who owns it very friendly, spike English, and always came in at breakfast to greet you. The hotel does allow pets (I have two large dogs) and you can walk them in a field across the bridge. You are within walking distance several stores, restaurants, and the train station. Only one down side...

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at the Pastoriushaus. The apartment we stayed in was very well kept and clean, as well as spacious enough for a family of four. Not only did we enjoy our rooms, but the location was great! We could easily walk to almost any where in the town. The staff was very helpful and welcoming...
