They have daily menus, but all three times we've been here have been great! It's typical German food, but they mix it up with a pretty good variety. Some kind of roast with sauces, soups, gourmet salads and fish plates...they've all been great! It's middle of the road as far as prices go, but very much worth it! We've come... More

I have been accommodated in the fourth floor - some other reviewers had some reservation. But I cannot confirm that. My room was spacious, clean, and modern. The staff is friendly and help. The food (we had breakfasts dinners and lunches) was excellent. Wifi is complementary and available in all areas. Last but not least, the Kaffee and bar is a... More

A more modern hotel than most in this area, more of a hotel than a guest house. The rooms are a bit small, I was allocated a room on the 3rd floor which was very small indeed, with the roof sloping on both sides of the room it was too small. I went back to the reception and asked for... More

Since I wasn't overly positive about this place after visiting it last year, I wanted to give an update as I just got back from another visit there, and feel much more positive. One major improvement was that this time the connectivity was perfectly fine - so maybe we just had an unlucky blip last time. That made all the... More

Interesting hotel, great front desk staff. Willing to suggest and help. Guess being use bigger rooms in North America , felt a little cramp ? Breakfast was okay, quite to wait for warm eggs. Worth it as it was fresh off the grill. Reminds one of a family run hotel. Was there on business and may not have enjoy all... More

This is a comfortable small town hotel, with family welcome and excellent breakfast. The menu for lunch and dinner is very Bavarian - lots of heavy meat and thick pasta, potato cakes etc - not my style, but probably not bad (if you are hungry!). The rooms are a good size and pretty comfortable with decent bathrooms. The set up... More

We were only here for one night on a cycling holiday, but the welcome was as good as if we were staying for several days. The room was comfortable, if rather hot (no air-conditioning) and since we were in a room right by a large church with loud chimes we didn't want to open the window. Breakfast was terrific; everything... More

The hotel is independently run and all public areas are well kept and updated with love and style. My room had a stained wall-to-wall carpeting, which is a no go for a four-star place. The wellness area is clean and appealing, but again, a four-star facility that offers a wellness area to its guests should not charge for slippers.

We booked here just for a night in this lovely hotel - but really wished we had stayed longer in this charming town. Food was excellent with strong local twist. Comfortable rooms gave us a good night and excellent - and deserted pool next day. One of the owners was on the premises and could not do enough for us... More

Went back to the hotel after the renovations a few months ago and was disappointed. The owner/father retired and handed the reins to the daughters who remodeled the place with the new addition of the adjacent building. It's 3 hotel styles that does not fit together. The new building interior looks and feel like an airport conference center hotel, being... More
