Full 5* food is really good, one of the best places to eat, super creative and the place is very calm and has this bavarian not overly opulent way to make you feel comfortable our room was 70ies style, with vinyls and a player, bathroom nothing special. Breakfast a steal, bumped into FRancis Coppola over breakfast one morning, he seemed...

Post Hotels are often among the best in most towns and cities. In the days of postal coaches travelling with passengers about 50 miles a day, they were usually the biggest and best on that stretch of the route. That was a long time ago. Many are still quite good and this is one. Not to get carried away with...

Alexander Herrmann is fabulously gifted and inventive chef, and the service was impeccable. We were treated to a wonderful culinary journey with a menu of contrasts, accompanied by a world around wine tasting adventure.

We had previously stayed in central bayreuth when we came for Wagner operas and were increasingly disenchanted by the very poor value for money we got. Friends suggested this hotel which proved a great success. It is about 20 mins drive outside bayreuth, but if you've already been to bayreuth, you'll have seen everything worth seeing and spending the morning...

When going to Bayreuth stay in Wirsberg Classy hotel with really charming professional staff. Rooms à bit dated and bathroom too small but would come back any day for ambiance , dinner on the terrace and fabulous breakfast. Last but not least, for people attending the Bayreuth festival, they organise a bus to take you there and back and provide...

Great rooms, very helpful and attentive staff. They'll basically work around your schedule, and do everything they can to make you feel at home. It probably goes without saying, but do NOT skip Hermann's restaurant. It's one of the best in the world.

I stayed here for a week on a business trip. The staff was excellent - they provided everything we asked for! The rooms were decent, always clean, but nothing fancy. The restaurant was excellent and provided nice views! Overall, it was a nice cozy stay.

For our Christmas holidays, we decided to drive from Pully [Lausanne (CH)] to Dresden to stay with a German friend. A 10-11 hour drive was not so inviting so we looked for a half way point and settled on Wirsberg. We consulted trip advisor and saw that the one comment on this hotel was good so we contacted the hotel...

Called at the last minute to find a room for one night. They were very helpful and gave us the last room they had. It as clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was very helpful and even pulled some strings to get us into the restaurant at the last minute. Breakfast was a buffet and had everything to choose...
