This is possibly the oldest hotel in Germany, dating from at least 1411 however the present building apparently dates from 1590. It is just one of the many beautiful buildings in Miltenberg. It sits in the middle of a 'Y' intersection.

Supposedly the oldest pub in Germany the outside view is stunning as are many of the picturesque properties in Miltenberg have a pleasant stroll along the main street to see the wooden frame buildings some slightly distorted over the years interesting views
But just viewing the outside of this building was interesting. It is the oldest guest house in Germany. It dates from 1590 and a document shows that its owner was granted the right to fell a hundred oaks to build it. Cool!

No, there isn't any secure parking. We were directed to park at the side of the hotel. This area didn't have any specific designation for hotel guests. It wasn't ideal. We parked the car & walked everywhere.
