Lovely castle and good service. Wonderful room but shame there is no choice in courses on set menu. Main reason we would not stay again is that although there is a view of the Rhein in the foreground one cannot but help see a large...More
We rented a suite at the castle. The service was over and above. The grounds were well kept and charming, as was the Castle, as well. The room was decorated to reminiscent of the history of its origins. The breakfast was a beautiful spread and...More
This is truly in the top 5 stays in all my travel experiences. Every detail is 5 star; crisp, clean fine linens, housekeeping rarely found in hotels any more, and service beyond excellent. We had two dinners; both the four course chef”s choice. Each course...More

If you get the chance to stay here I highly recommend it. A magical experience with first class service and food. Surpassed our highest expectations and can't say enough good things about this place! A must for every bucket list!

They had carts for transporting luggage. They were basically golf carts. They seemed glad to transport you. Then get a room on the first floor and you should be good. A lot of the charm of the castle are the gardens that would not be good for someone with limited mobility. Many of the rooms and restaurants with great views would be easily accessible. I hope this helps. The hotel went out of their way to make sure to accommodate us. I am sure they would help your father. It is a once in a lifetime place.
