We sent one night at the Honeymoon Suite and enjoyed our stay! Very spacious, with a balcony, bug bathroom, clean and simply perfect. The staff was very nice and helpful. We would recommend this Hotel and book again.
A very nice place , charming Schloss. We spent the night in the amazing suite number 7, with a nice wooden floor , a nice balcony . Large room with a large bathroom . Dog friendly , warm welcome , very friendly staff . We had the diner at the small gasthof beside the castle . Good food brasserie type . We simply have enjoyed our time and recommend this place
We stayed here for a friend’s wedding. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful. The place is let down by the very unfriendly manager / owner who seems like everything you ask is a problem and is quite rude - our friends advised that even simple requests on the morning of the wedding, such as a round of beers for the groomsmen, were met with irritation and only given when advised they would just go elsewhere for beers. She also yelled at one of the grandparents when she tripped over her bag. Not sure if she was just grumpy at having so many people for the wedding? Either way, it was the only blip on an otherwise gorgeous stay.
Staying here for a weekend with the family and really liked the location. The rooms were huge and really nicely decorated. Beds were a dream, what you should expect for a hotel of this class. Restaurant offered a great 4 course tasting menu for really great price, restaurant staff was also very friendly, although kitchen seemed under-staffed as waiting time was quite long. But the overall experience was great. Reception upon check in and out wasn’t the best experience - as communication wasn’t very welcoming: for example the hotel Failed to reserve a second room as booked, the overall attitude seems to rather focus on problem instead of the solution, same with inquires for restaurant reservations. In the end everything was great. But for a hotel of this class I’d expect better communications training for the staff. And a rather a “of course, we’ll make this work” instead of “hmm, difficult, maybe if ..” FYI Restaurant seems to be open only on the weekend (Friday it was closed) Staff mostly only speaks German.. …
Friendly welcome, got lead to my room... wow! Really, really cool - big room, stylish interior, big TV, nice desk, ... everything exceptional including the bathroom! Breakfast really good and fresh, too! Downside: WLAN slow after 7pm, only few power sockets.
