Hotel has very good location, it is in the center of the city (5min on foot). Hotel is very clean, wifi is good in early morning. Breakfast is also very good (egs, fruit, sousages, ham, chees, sweets - nice one). Personel is very helpful and fine. Near hotel you have McDonalds, lidle, penny aldi, dm, takko. For this money hotel is excelent.

I stayed for one night for a business meeting in France in the Strasbourg area. I am very happy of the choice I made. Don't be msled by the cigarette smell in the lobby! Rooms are small but correctly sized for a business traveller like me with a large desk to work with your lap top enjoying the complimentary wi-fi.
Additional good points of the rooms, they are spotless clean, super quiet tahnks to double glazing and can be made very dark at night using the rolling shutters (I love sleeping in the dark and it's not common to find good devices to make your room dark north of the Alps).
The bathroom is very clean as well and have excellent plumbing. Maybe I would have preferred to have larger towels for the shower. Breakfast is very good and has an impressive variety of food to choose from. Staff is nice and professional. Don't look further. Just go to the Europa Hotel if you need to stay in the area. You will not be disappointed

Stayed here when visiting Strasbourg Xmas Market.
Excellent facilities and very close to the station. Only 10 mins train ride and included in the Strasbourg travel pass.
Good rooms and a very good breakfast.

I have been upgraded from a single room to a double on 5th floor. Very nice, clean room with blackout curtains, acceptable view, relatively quiet despite being close to the street. They had a small fridge, mineral water and 2 glasses as a welcome, cottonwool pads, shower cap and sewing kit. You can watch a huge screen TV from your bed.

The tram station line D was opposite the hotel, so is the discount supermarket Lidl and drugstore DM. The city centre was just 5 min walk from the hotel. Staff were very nice except one girl who was helpful in the beginning but couldn't handle common issues at reception.

She didn't know anything about buying tickets for Line D. Something more serious was: she told me that line D was going the whole night. I didn't believe her and contacted my ex AirBnB host in Strassburg who also helped me finding Europa Hotel. Imagine I assumed the line D run the whole night

I extended my stay by 3 nights and asked the girl for the price I received from booking. Com. As I wanted to pay the bill, this girl at the reception told me some nonsense about booking. Com. Since I was too tired to listen to her drivel about booking. Com, reluctantly I decided to pay. After I got upset because she mispronounced my name 3 times she yelled at me and said she would kick me out. Such people shouldn't work at the reception where most guests frequently travel to Strassburg. And for me breakfast was not included

Just because of this girl I needed to write a long-winded review where otherwise I would have given the hotel 4-5 *

We were there and by checked in the guys at reception and grilled bar were really nice, but the room was outside from the hotel. It was ok even separated bath and kitchen, we felled not really comfortable. Cleanliness was poor. My kid has allergies against dust mite and under the bed was full with dust, it looked dirty. Housekeeping was cleaning our room and she or he forgot wipes in our room. It shouldn't happened. Breakfast was acceptable. Coffee was good, buffet was ok. Staffs were not friendly, they did their job likes robot . No greeting ,no smiling, no clearing the table. Staffs at reception morning shift were same. They are just likes robot. For two nights with 405 euros paid (included europa park ticket) I expected something better, anyhow I think, we wouldn't come back again and wouldn't recommend our friends.

The hotel is in Kehl, a short bus/local train ride away from downtown Strasbourg. Hotel is about three blocks from center of Kehl with restaurants and shopping. We spent two nights, taking public transportation to downtown Strasbourg the second day with no problem. Parking is next to hotel on unimproved lot but secure. A good choice for relatively inexpensive overnight and access to Strasbourg area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Did not try hotel restaurant but several good restaurants in Kehl. Included breakfast very good.

The hotel room I stayed in was cosy and had everything I could possibly need. The staff was very friendly and helpful (also English speaking), no exception. There were no problems with WIFI and even choosy people will find something delicious for them in the breakfast buffet. This place is a great starting point for trips to Strasbourg.

We stayed here for 2 nights as it was dirt cheap compared with Strasbourg. Overall it was really good. Staff were very friendly and attentive and couldn't do more for you. Breakfast was vast and good quality although it can get busy.

Two gripes though.

1) everywhere smells of cigarette smoke. It's just alien compared to the UK. The bar, lobby, corridors and to a lesser extent the room all smelled of stale smoke

2) the fire alarm went off on the first night. My biggest issue was the due to the lack of sounder in the room, it took a long time to wake up. This was at 1am and bearing in mind I was on the 4th floor of a tower, I would have needed to be up quicker in the event of a real fire. Staff didn't seem to be in control.

Lastly the bar. Dirt cheap at 3.5eur for a pint but anything else (such as mixers or cocktails) takes so long to serve its not worth it.

The hotel was excellent and yes there does seem to be a smoke smell in the foyer, but besides that our room was clean & no smell of smoke. Fairly convenient to the city centre of Strasbourg. Across the road & thru the big car park you will find the 21 bus stop, you can buy a return ticket for bus & tram off the driver, the bus terminates at Jean Jueres and you hop onto the C or D tram into the city. Don't panic when making return trip as the 21 bus does go a different route on the way back but it will still drop you off where you got on. The staff are fairly efficient but not that friendly and they have a great free breakfast.
