All staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms very clean. Very comfortable beds, the best pillows I have ever slept on and fantastic shower. The only slight let down was breakfast which was quite basic and was served to you. Because of Covid you couldn’t self serve yourself to breakfast. We stayed just before Christmas and have re booked to stay early February.

A no-frills hotel that provides you, however, with all the essentials. The rooms are quite spacious. Convenient location just next to the train and tram station which gets you to Strasbourg. Rather extensive breakfast buffet. Nice staff.

We chose to stay here because of its proximity to Strasbourg and the ability to park our car for free. The bus (soon to be tram) stops just across the road from the hotel Our room was pleasant, clean and quiet and had a balcony but no air conditioning. We left the balcony door open and found it cool enough at night. Excellent buffet breakfast is included. Very helpful staff - we were able to buy our bus tickets (Euro 6.80 for 24 hours for 2 persons) and pick up Strasbourg maps at the front desk.

I've been visiting Kehl for 1 day business trip.
The hotel is very clean, rooms are neat and quite... which is a must due to hotel location just on the main streen with a lot of trafic.
The reception was very kind and has special arrangement for vely late check in (I arrived almost at midnight) - very convinient. The checkout was quick as well. I paied 77E for one night which is very descent price including breakfast (which was very good)

I wouldn't recomment this hotel for a honeymoon due to proximity to several "men entartainment" places and sleezy audience visiting it. Also, no luxury exists. Still, if a proximity to train station and city center (ether Kehl and Strasburg) is important, this hotel is right on the spot.

Spent 3 nights whilst on a business trip to a nearby supplier. Very convenient for the station (just across the road). The rooms are of a good size and some have balconies, although the view is not spectacular. There is no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but if you are lucky enough to be on the 5th floor (top) then there is a coffee machine and supplies there. There are a couple of PCs connected to the internet in reception and a small hotel bar. A couple of small gripes about the room- the beds (2 single which I pushed together) were incredribly soft, also as is sometimes the case, the curtains were not large enought to fit the window. However the most impressive point of this hotel was the excellent breakfast. A wide range of cold meats, salamis, yoghurts, juices etc which would have put a bigger hotel to shame. Price is reasonable around 80 euros per night. I have also stayed at the Rebstock in the past and I found the rooms to be more stylish, but the location of the Ates is probably better, certainly if you don't have a car. There is also a new hotel adjoining the station called Vox with an excellent if a bit eccentric restaurant which I may well try next time.

The hotel is near trams and busstation. It´s clean and with big enough rooms. The breakfast was very good and lots to choose between :-) You have lots of shops just around the corner and if you are lucky live music aswell.

We stayed with a large group for 4 nights. The staff are very friendly and pleasant, though seemed overwhelmed at times at the front desk. We couldn't get 2 keys for our room.
We were lucky to be on the 4 th floor , as I think only floors 4 and 5 have air conditioning This is not really acceptable as summers here can be VERY hot!
The breakfast was quite good for 'continental' standard- and there were bananas offered each morning too.
One lift. - Hmm, not enough for a hotel of this size for sure.
Nevertheless less it is a clean friendly hotel, and worth staying at- on floors 4&5!!

Friendly staff who were helpful.
Very clean and spacious room.
Good breakfast with a good choice of foo.
No dedicated parking but we used the railway station car park directly opposite.
There is lots of street parking available but it's just hard to find a space.

I used this hotel for a visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the hotel was a short bus trip from the parliament building and given the number of people on the bus an number of locals appear to work in Strasbourg. The hotel itself is clean and well presentable with friendly staff and an adequate breakfast.
