This hotel is on a hill in the middle of the vineyards, with walking from the door. The view from the terrace where we dined is outstanding. Both breakfast and Dinner were superb, so much to choose from. Lovely friendly people, the menu is in both German and French so had no problem translating, and the waiters and waitresses are...

Beautifully located just above the village with a stunning view (if your room is on the right side of the hotel). We had a single and a double room and both rooms were a little dated, but clean and relatively spacious. Friendly staff, very good breakfast.

Located on a hillside overlooking the town of Oberkirch, this hotel has great views. Our room was pleasant, if a bit outdated in its decor. The restaurant has a nice terrace for outside dining. However, we had to wait for over an hour to get the food we ordered. Internet access was only available in the restaurant. Breakfast begins at...

The reason to stay at this hotel is the cuisine, arranged by Peter Zimmerman, which is quite wonderfully excellent. On a pleasant evening you eat on a large west-facing patio overlooking the plain of the River Rhine stretching across to France. Fabulous view but sun in your eyes can be a bit of a problem, despite their array of sun...

We stayed here for 3 nights 19th 20th 21st June. The hotel is set amongst the rolling hills overlooking Oberkirch. You can walk into town but it would be quite a hike on the return journey, uphill and we didn't fancy doing it in the heat! We ate in the restaurant twice, the first night and the last night. Both...

My partner and I were keen to explore the Black Foest area of SW Germany as part of a driving holiday through the Champagne area of France and chose this small family run hotel on the outskirts of Oberkirch near the France/Germany border not far from Strasbourg. What a find..! The restaurant was outstanding and the hotel is situated in...

My husband and I stayed here to have a nice, quiet weekend away. We could not have asked for a better place for rest and relaxation. Our room was clean and the views were breathtaking! We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night and it was reasonably priced and delicious. We were also greeted with a smile each morning...

Stayed 2 nights as part of a driving tour of Germany. We chose the location as it was a convenient place to visit Strasbourg being just over the border into Germany. The hotel overlooks the town of Oberkirch and our "Comfort double" room had its own balcony with great views. The room was enormous with its own seating area although...

Great location, perfect scenery with the view over Oberkirch. If your staying for dinner, the food is not expensive and very tasteful. If it's hot outside, it's also hot inside. There's no airco and when we were there the temperature outside was 35 degrees celsius. The rooms are decent.
