We stayed two nights in this very cosy and comfortable hotel. Location is excellent with views over the cobbled streets below and the impressive Schloss up the hill. Beds comfortable, shower hot, friendly and helpful staff - all excellent. We enjoyed an evening meal at the restaurant - delicious food and attentive staff. Highly recommend for an authentic stay in...

I got a room in a close by house . The room is nicely refurbished. But it turned out that the building being old is very resonant, every step can be heard through the wooden floors. The stair case to the upper floor runs through my room. But this is just the beginning. The real problem is (I am still...

Enjoyed this hotel which was very comfortable. Great location (but turn into the narrow road leading up to it is challenging as very tight) with lovely views. Clean, cosy accommodation and very friendly staff. Let them park your car as you are charged 7 euros for it! We ate in the restaurant which was very good - but make sure...

We had booked two rooms in this hotel via Booking.com. We were given rooms on the 3rd floor in the annex building across the street. One room had been renovated but still had some challenges -- the shower was very slick and actually dangerous. The other room was a terrible green and definitely needed remodeling. The bottom floor door was...

Hotel is in an old renovated building and very romantic. The staff is very helpful. The location is gorgeous but difficult to access. If you are coming by car you will face an acute angle in to an very narrow and uphill pacing stone street. Also a parking spot is almost a problem, but the staff is very kind to...

My travelling companion and I had a wonderfully relaxing time at Hotel am Schloss. The location was fantastic for visiting the centre of Town and it's a stones throw from the Schloss itself! The rooms were modern, whilst in keeping with the old features e.g. Beams. The staff were extremely friendly and would go out of their way to help...

Not easy to reach - a steep hill getting you, just past the hotel, to the castle; and, once in the hotel, it's not easy to reach your room - I stayed on the third floor and there is no lift, just old stairs. But it's worth every drop of sweat! The Hotel Am Schloss (= by the castle) is...

We stayed down the hill from Hotel Am Schloss for several days but ate every breakfast and several dinners in their dining room or outside on the patio overlooking the village below. The staff was friendly., helpful, attentive, and encouraging when it came to trying new menu items.every meal was wonderful. The food was always fresh. We could not have...

Not exactly cheap, but this part of Germany is not known for being cheap I suppose. The hotel is located right beside the Schloss, which means most of the rooms get superb views over Tubingen. It is a bit tricky to navigate there if you're driving as the entrance to the uphill street is very narrow and at an awkward...

We stayed here in June and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Just be aware that depending on your room it can be noisy at night. We had a great view of the castle; but since it was warm and we had our windows open we could hear students until fairly late at night who congregated outside the front...
