The hotel is quite small, but they are really kind at the desk, 2 min to have the keys, but after that just problems. The keys are not working, 4th floor, the wonderful glass elevator is locked at the 4th floor and no way to open the door, so we step down to 3rd to call it, it came, solved....

The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet small Street right in the pedestrian city center, with parking lot (7€ per night) at 3 minutes walking distance. The staff was friendly, the room large and well equipped, good working wifi connection. Breakfast was having a wide and good selection ( I would say better than usual Mercure).

I've stayed at the Mercure several times over the years. Great location but just not good enough to get a 4 star rating. Really they are a good 2 star. The rooms are small and basic, tubs instead of modern showers, and the customer service is cold at best.

We have stay here on March 2016 as family with 3 rooms. This hotel is valued for the money which good breakfast, clean and comfortable bed. Especially it is located just in town and there are a lot of shops for you to shopping.

Just within the walls and directly on the main street, but quiet. Just a couple of parking spots outside, extra parking at cost is just 3 minutes on foot. I was upgraded to a suite, veeeery big, almost a small apartment but you could tell the hotel had better times. Nevertheless, clean, well appointed, Staff kind. Breakfast slightly better than...

The hotel is clean and fresh with a nice gym, steam room and sauna on the top floor. The Breakfast was good, a mixture of continental and also cooked sausage and eggs. Staff are friendly and helpful, parking is off-site, 5 mins walk away across the ring road.

This is overall a very nice hotel situated in an interesting little town with medieval citywalls. The hotel is inside these walls which is nice if you are walking arround. If you come by car it is a bit difficult. There are a few parking spots available near the hotel, but you will most likely need to reserve these. We...

Location: Stayed for 2 days and it is an excellent location in the center of Villingen-Schwenningen. A small village with a midevil center (2km by 2km, not so large) and a nice place for an escape to the black forrest. Service: Experienced good service. Refill during breakfast was not their main priority and we had to keep them reminded (it...

“I had room 117. On that side of the hotel, I imagine that it could get very, very warm in the summer. Luckily I was there on a chilly spring weekend, and the room stayed cosily warm even without the use of central heating.”
