Stayed one night for one purpose: enjoying the annual goose meat in mid-November. Great reception and hospitality. Spacious rooms at very advantageous rate (especially compared to Switzerland!) and superb food in the restaurant for our afternoon snack, the big evening meal and the breakfast. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel. There are two minor issues, being the room heating (was very...

We did not stay here, our hotel up the road recommended the restaurant for local cuisine. The food was excellent and good sized portions. Myself and a travel partner got 2 full meals and 2 side dishes. The side dishes were enough food to be meals themselves. We left stuffed but happy. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced....

The restaurant at the hotel post was one of the best I had during my trip to Germany, if you have a car and are in fussen, then drive over here for an evening local brewed beer and delicious food. the Local dishes are spectacular, and the beer unique for the area. would definitely recommend.

family of 5 stayed for about 5 nights. clean and spacious rooms, restaurant was open every day and they took us even when they were booked with reserve seating. English was hardly spoken so a traslator came in handy. staff gives out wifi vouchers that last for 1/2 or 1 day. This place is a microbrewery too so lots of...

We visited here on the way to Italy. It's a really cute village, we have stopped off here several times when making the same journey. This is the first time to stay in this hotel, some of the staff were a little moody but the others totally made up for it. They dress in traditional outfits. The hotel is also...

We came as a family of 5 no reservation. We were promptly seated. Ordering was a little complicated, server seemed impatient. ( we don't speak or read German well) we tried. 55 minutes later our food arrived. It was a decent meal, not special.

Close to being a 5 star, but breakfast falls a little short. Served as our base camp for 3 nights while we explored more of the Alpine Road. Post is a family run (Meyer) traditional brewery guest house and the hotel itself is adorable. Styled with dark woods and Bavarian decorations, our room, 28, was a nice size with a...

We ate out in the beer-garden, and it was lovely! They do have an English menu and the service was very helpful and friendly. This place is really cute, with authentic German food. Parking is nearby across the street near the church. Portions are large, so you may even want to share. If you are visiting the area castles, it's...

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the restaurant serve a pork knuckle with kraut salat and a dumpling. Included are two beers of your choice. All this for €14:80 which is not bad considering the quality of the beer and food. As it was Easter I had the Easter beer and a Gold beer. Really good. The room we got was the...

We came here several years for one night as we went to Italy. The last two years the quality has diminished. So we won't go anymore. Price/quality is not anymore OK. Last year parking was not cleared and very icy. But we got an excuse and a 30 euro to spend this year. Food and service is not so good...
