This is a very stylish hotel with an excellent dining experience. The breakfast had traditional German options and lots of variety. The view from this whole place and from the breakfast room especially was spectacular. You are in the clouds. You can hike right out your door and visit Falkenstein castle as well. We'll never forget this place, I strongly...

First wedding anniversary .... The hotel locates in a wonderful place! Beatiful nature. We were staying at LUDWIGS SCHATZKISTERL KÖNIGLICHE SUITE. The room is fantastic, much bigger than on the picture in the internet. It was clean, everything was decorated with the taste. The hotel itself is nice as well. There were sauna in the spa area which didn't work...

I spent a night there and it was magic. The food is made, everything home made, Toni the owner made us discovery the area, you can cross the austrian border briefly, the view on the mountains is incredible. Everything for a relaxing stay. I was there for a small team building event and we could have some very nice informal...

Saw this hotel from across the valley and thought "lets go there". It had snowed and the scenery on the way up was amazing. BUT we failed to spot the traffic light system on the way up and were terrified we'd meet another car coming down, it's so narrow and a long drop down! When we arrived the views were...

A big part of me doesn't want to share this hidden gem as it is such a special spot and I want to know I will always be able to get a room when I want to ........ but that's just selfish and the owners of this place deserve to be full every day. I have previously worked many years...

This is a place of romance and a place of beauty from the inside to the outside. The people who work there are really sweet and they really care for you and the place. The inside decor is breathtaking. Sad we only had two days here on our adventure and soon realized we wished we could of stayed more. Dinner...

Thanks to the people at Umfulana(tour company in germany) for booking this place for our trip to Bavaria. This Hotel is just incredible. Each room is unique and has its own charm. The staff all were very accomodating and helpful and the restaurant was perfect. If you get the chance to stay here do it! And allow time to take...

The road leading up to the hotel is narrow at certain parts - wide enough for one car. Hence the traffic light at the entry point. Green means you can drive thru, red means need to wait. It was a grey skies on the day we drove up and rained a bit. The drive up was nice although the road...

This fantastic restaurant is not only perched on one of the most dramatic locations imaginable it also boasts a dramatic history and some of the best food I have ever eaten. The trip up in the car is not for the faint of heart but trust me it's worth it. Off the beaten track, this is truly a hidden gem...

This is a great place to walk (or drive, downhill from on the hour till quarter past and uphill from z quarter past till on the hour for 4 Euros). At the top is the hotel and restaurant with a beautiful terrace and an amazing view across Austria and Bavaria. Unfortunately the restaurant did not have any gluten free cake,...
