I stayed here again last week. The hotel is very centrally situated, and near to bars and restaurants. The rooms are adequate, and always clean. The breakfast isnt bad in German standards, with scrambled and boiled eggs, various meats and cheeses, plus the usual cerials and fruits, as always the German bread rolls are a highlight of the breakfast menu....

You can stay there for business, there's no special facilities inside but it's downtown so you can go out for dinner. The size of rooms are very different so if you're not lucky, you could sleep in a corridor. Breakfast is OK. Bar is open all the night but no beer on tap, only bottles.

The hotel is located just north of the pedestrian area, but is in a quiet courtyard and our room was very quiet. Rooms are typical, clean and they had locked bike storage. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options. A surprisingly quiet hotel.

This hotel really impressed me :-). It was very cozy and atmospheric. Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was very good!!! There was a variety as different types of sausages, cheeses, bread... Really nice for Germany :-). The location was very comfortable as well: not far from the station, the city mall and park. Also the personnel was very...

This is a rather old, hotel convenient for the town centre. Beautiful bathroom. 'Fridge in bedroom but no tea & coffee making facilities. Room smelt a little musty and there was no curtain over the window (luckily, we were at the back of the hotel so this wasn't a major problem) and no list of TV channels. Excellent breakfast.

The hotel was good with a good breakfast but in my badroom their was not a shower, just a bad. Near the hotel you can find some nice places to eat and drink. I could'nt tell more about it because I was just their for the night.

Lovely from the outside, however once you've gone through the doors you will board a time machine which will take you to the sixties...everything is dated, the carpets, the wallpaper, lighting and the decor...However breakfast was hearty and plentiful. There was a lovely lady who would roam around the hotel making sure everything was running smoothly. Receptionists did not raise...

breakfast was good and very fresh. Rooms where ok. Bathroom was clean and serviceable. Wifi was free in lobby. but chargeable to work in rooms. although my room picked up the free wifi. so use this. Main negative was the thickness of the walls. I really dont wont to hear the person in the next room coughing and spluttering. But...

We wanted to stay close to the pedestrian shopping zone and found this lovely hotel. It had old charm staircases with clean affordable rooms. Breakfast was fantastic and we would definitely stay here again.

Acshaffenburg is around 30 minutes on the train from Frankfurt and the reason I ended up there was the recommendation of a colleague who I was working with on the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) at Frankfurt Messe who happens to live there. At the time the prices for a room in Frankfurt – even those miles away from the Messe...
