We stayed one night, and really enjoyed & appreciated the service provided by the hotel. Upon arrival I was able to find out information on ticketing for the castles & near places to eat. The room had a great outlook. Refreshments were available at additional charge in a shared room adjacent to reception. The breakfast provided was excellent. The family...

So yes, maybe 15 minutes to the castles, but with a car, what difference does it make. Yes, sort of crammed in with a lot of other local properties, but that's okay as well. What absolutely set this property apart from any on this recent trip was the wonderful service of the owners and family. Room was fine, wifi was...

The staff made this place outstanding. Extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go, what to eat. Breakfast was above and beyond awesome. Simon greeted us each morning and really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend to anyone!

This was such a pleasant surprise. The rooms were classic yet modern at the same time. The best part is the hotel is run by very caring people who make you feel at home. The breakfast is homemade and by far the best we have had on the romantic road.

I asked for a room facing the Neuschwanstein Castle and that is just what we got! Although it is quite a distance, you can look out of your balcony and see it. In addition to being able to see the castle, the scenery is beautiful. There are lots of trees and mountains. The air is so fresh, I could live...

This hotel had a much nicer feel about it than I was expecting, it was lovely! The rooms were nice and the bathroom spacious. We had a view of Neuschwanstein Castle from our room which was lovely. Only complaint is the wifi didn't work particular well.

Charming and cozy property with lots of personality. Can not beat the setting at the foot of the castles that you can see from the property. Delightful hosts who went out of their way to help us with requests and to answer questions about best way to see the sites. Would gladly return and stay longer! Breakfast is amazing

My husband and I were here the first time in February for one night during a business trip. We were charmed then, and this trip was no different. They remembered us from February, which says a lot about how personally they treat each guest. This time we were 3 adults traveling and each of us have the same opinion- why...

This is the second time I have stayed at the Landhotel Guglhupf. Both times I have been greeted kindly and professionally. It is a charming place in a charming location. Free parking at the hotel (not at all common in Europe). The breakfast is very delightful. Wonderful cheeses, breads, jams, meats, and other common items. The staff is also very...
