I spent a night at this hotel in December, my room was on the first floor at the end of the passage. The room is spacious, but outdated. The pillows are very different from what we are used to - a flat continental pillow. Water was not going down the drain in the tub. Heating was not working. Wifi was not working. Dinner at the hotel provided adequately for vegetarians but lacked flavor. I requested ketchup and butter but was declined and told "Maybe tomorrow". A member of the kitchen staff told us the desserts lined up were from the previous night. I could not wait to leave this hotel and would not recommend it!

Schade, dass Sie vor Ort die Probleme mit Kopfkissen nicht geäußert haben. Kopfkissenauswahl steht immer den Gästen bereit und nach Bedarf, können die Gäste die Wunschkopfkissen erhalten. Unsere Rezeptionsmitarbeiter sind bedacht, Ihnen einen erholsamen und stressfreien Aufenthalt in unserem Hotel zu ermöglichen. Natürlich möchten wir uns auch hier nochmals bei Ihnen für die Unannehmlichkeiten durch die Wi-Fi in aller Form entschuldigen. Probleme mit Heizung sind uns nicht bekannt. Verwirrend und magisch klingt die Aussage von Ketchup und Butter, diese Produkte stehen immer jedem Gast an Buffet bereit. Wow i cant even put into words how terrible this hotel is! Staff were rude on more than 3 occasions and unapproachable, breakfast medioca and unable to cook , dinner was discusting (cooked for days) tap water only provided to customers buying wine,manager walkes into our room while changing, english coach group shoved in a corner and not allowed anywhere else in the restaurant,never been spoken to like this is my life, had a full blow shouting match with the restaurant staff over an early breakfast that was meant to be ready for 615am rude rude rude!!!!!DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Wenn Sie an unserem Abendessen und dem "Continental Breakfast" keinen Gefallen gefunden haben, dann tut uns das Leid, wir hatten an dem betreffenden Tag aber außer ihrer Gruppe auch noch 100 weitere Hotelgäste, von denen keinerlei Beanstandungen gemeldet wurden. Das Frühstücks und Abendessensangebot ist mehr als der übliche Standard in einem 3-Sterne-Hotel. Die Reisegruppen bekommen immer zugewiesene Sitzplätze im Restaurant. Aus organisatorischen Grunden, ist es nicht möglich die Sitzplätze zu wechseln. Das Frühstück im Hotel wird erst ab 7 Uhr serviert. Wenn die Gäste früher abreisen möchte, besteht die Möglichkeit im Voraus ein Lunchpacket zu reservieren. Wir haben unser Bestes getan um Ihre Gruppe eine Stunde vor dem offizielle Öffnugszeiten des Frühstücks zu bedienen. Auch wenn ihrerseits ein Mißverständnis über die Situation bestand, was dann zu einer Diskussion mit unserem Personal führte um die Situation zu klären, weisen wir entschieden zurück, dass bei uns ein Gast angeschrien worden wäre. Wenn Sie uns die Chance geben, Ihr Vertrauen zurück zu gewinnen, garantieren wir Ihnen, unser Bestes zu geben, damit Sie genauso gute Erfahrungen mit uns machen können, wie andere Gäste. I had a fantastic room on the fourth floor (411) , the balcony overlooked the Rhine from where I could watch all the river traffic. The balcony had patio furniture and the room had a sitting area as well with a coffee table. There is a small 'fridge in the room, but no tea/coffee making facilities.The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom supplied with almost instant hot water to a powerful shower. There was more than adequate heating to the room and bathroom. There is WiFi , phone and TV in the room as well. There is an excellent choice for both breakfast and evening meal and is of adequate quality. The hotel is conveniently situated on the promenade and next to Boppard Museum, it is only a short walk to the Old Town and ten minute walk to the Railway Station. Bars, shops and restaurants are a few minutes walk from the hotel. If you intend a trip on the Hunsruckbahn (see separate listing) ensure you obtain a "Guest Card" from reception and this will enable you to travel free of charge. I would recommend this hotel.…

Stayed in the building around the side, rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Food here is very good, had the buffet dinner which was outstanding and also a buffet breakfast which was pretty good. Wifi did not work very well. Fantastic location, the town of Boppard is spectacular and visually stunning, would return.

Direkt am Rhein gelegen und nur kurze Wege zum Zentrum und Bahnhof. Außerdem lassen sich Wander- und Radtouren sehr gut planen, viele Burgen im Rheintal besichtigen und die Loreley ist auch nur eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Stayed here for one night and was a very nice hotel. Comfortable beds & beautiful view of the river! Restaurant/bar is amazing with excellent food. Friendly staff. Would stay here again and highly recommend. Super close to the shops
