We loved this hotel. We stayed in a room for three with our daughter and the room was large and beautiful. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the location is top, and the breakfast was great, too. This is perfect for people who want to support local business and not throw their money to the corporate giants.

I`ve read several glowing reviews on TA so this may come as a shock but this hotel is awful, the worst place we stayed in our 2 week trip across Germany. Boppard is a strange place, we tried to order a meal at a local restaurant at 8-15 and were told they had stopped serving... What...? Ohm Patt,Where to start? The shower/bathroom is shoulder width wide and I`m not Arnold Swarzanegger, its so small the sink is in the bedroom..!! And the toilet is at such an angle its hard to sit on.And polystyrene ceiling tiles..? Didnt they go out with the ice age, and dont they give off cyanide gas when they burn and everywhere seems to be sealed with masses of silicon sealant. The four poster bed may seem romantic but try sitting on it without stopping the blood flow to your legs due to the raised side edges, which also means you hit your legs on it whilst trying to sleep which is impossible due to the tiny fan which provides little or no relief from the hot room . We couldnt get a peep out of the TV and thats not for lack of trying. Wood chip abounds, pipes coming through a hole in the ceiling just adds to the torment. Breakfast was good, central location and the lady owner was cheerful, and I understand the Germans pre occupation with wood but, my, avoid this place Oh, yeah, 131 euros was waaaaaaay too much, or was that increased because there was an event on in town??

Our family of three stayed two nights at Hotel Ohm Patt. What wonderful owners—Vitor and Natascha. Between the two of them they speak fluent Portuguese, German, Ukrainian and Russian; as well as a smattering of French and English. They both work hard to make you happy. The hotel is in an historic building and the rooms have been partially renovated. The entire hotel is exquisitely clean! Beds were comfortable; linen and towels plentiful. Breakfast is an extra small charge. Five minute walk to excellent restaurants and a free parking structure. This is a 2 star establishment that exceeds all expectations.

Pretty little hotel, huge beautiful room, nice people, good breakfast! The location was perfect to see the sights around Boppard and to serve as home base to see some of the surrounding Rhine River areas.

We stayed at Ohm Patt in 2014 during our visit to Boppard. We LOVED this place and John Durcan. He is a lot of what made our stay so great. This man really knew how to make you feel like you were the most important travelers to ever stay at his Hotel. He was so helpful and exceeded even the level of service that you'd normally consider to be great. We recently found out that the Hotel now is under new ownership and we were pleased to read that the reviews continue to be outstanding. We were in Germany in Sept 2018 and although we haven't visited this particular area again yet, we'll have to put it on our agenda for our next trip. We'd love to come back to the Ohm Patt and meet Vitor and Natalia. Thanks for living up to the standards that John set when we visited!
