Really nice hotel in a beautiful old building. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The heating in winter is really excellent and there is no need for blankets and extra covers although they are available if required. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is quite simple but a nice selection of warm and cold dishes to... More

Staying at the Hotel Domhof for 2 nights was a pleasure. The hotel is composed of a main building and outlying buildings forming a courtyard. They all date back several hundred years. I could not understand exactly what their history is but apparently it is significant enough that the hotel prints a slick brochure about it - in German only.... More

We had a quick overnight stay in a standard double room whilst touring with Viatorius tours and we wished we had more time to explore Speyer and to stay at this hotel. This hotel was in a fantastic location and the restaurant and bar across from the hotel was very handy for a catch up with a friend. There was... More

Good hotel. The staff was friendly. The place clean. It was situated in the best part of the city. You can reach the river in 10 min walk, or have good ice cream near. There is a greek restaurant near dhe hotel and in the courtyard you can taste wonderful german beer.

The hotel itself was perfectly okay and breakfast was very good. However, the staff at the reception was unfriendly, bordering on rude. On the booking.com confirmation it said 'free parking' - alongside a picture of the hotel's underground car park. When checking out, we learned that parking was only free on outdoor parking spaces and underground parking cost us 7,50€.... More

Picturesque hotel in the centre of historic Speyer, close to the cathedral. The rooms are comfortable and there is an attractive courtyard. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant and beer garden. The restaurant sells good German food and of course very drinkable German beers. When I visited it was very hot and the beer garden was great. Two downsides... More

The location is the big plus point, just 50 metres to the main cathedral and the main street. The hotel is part of a complex which features a beer brewery and pub, which is exceedingly popular and offers a good selection of German pub food. The rooms have solid wood flooring and furnished with retro furniture. Bathrooms are clean and... More
