This is a simple hotel with parking space in the old town, close to the town walls. Rooms are clean and the bathrooms new. The larger rooms with the balcony towards the back are quiet, and you have a view to the parking place, but also to the wine plots around the old town. We had challenges with the internet...

Ahrweiler is a really sweet town in the Ahr Valley, right next to the health resoirt Bad Neuenahr. We had visited previously on a summer afternoon, but wanted to come back for a night to relax and try the famous local red wines. Good points: Excellent location - right in heart of Ahrweiler old town on the pedestrian precinct. Really...

Stayed one night together with my brother in september 2013. Nice, newly renovated rooms. Small bathroom, but in tip top condition. Breakfast was very good and included in the price. A perfect place in the middle of the old town - highly recommended.

This was a welcome stopover in a UK-to-Italy roadtrip. Staff extremely helpful, rooms spacious and impeccably clean and a delicious breakfast buffet. Always felt welcome, even with special arrangements for our unplanned late arrival. And what a great location. Would definitely revisit.

This is my second visit to this small hotel inside the walls of a very pretty Rhineland town. The quality of the service was at least as good as the first time. Booking the larger rooms (Komfortdopplezimmer) is worthwhile as it includes a balcony and a wonderful view over the rooftops to the surrounding hills. As I expect in Germany...

If you venture to this beautiful part of Germany then we can thoroughly recommend the Hotel Ännchen for a few nights stay. We were there in April and the season was just getting going. Whether this had any effect on the state of the rooms and premises (i.e. prepared/refreshed over the winter for the new season) the bottom line is...

An excellent small hotel just inside the walls of the small medieval town of Ahrweiler in the heart of Germany's red wine growing area. As the free car park is small and as the hotel is in a pedestrian area it is well worth paying for a reserved place in their underground garage, currently 5 euros/day. The buffet breakfasts are...

Me and my wife stayed here for three nights at the end of July on a roadtrip throughout Germany. Perfect accomodations for our trip. Ahrweiler is really a gem of a town off the beaten path, this hotel is the perfect base to explore everything and walk through the old walled town. Parking was not that big of an issue,...

We stayed for two nights at this small family-owned hotel. We found the staff very helpful and friendly, and the hotel was very clean. Our room was very large and quiet, overlooking the back of the hotel but i think all the rooms would be quiet because the hotel is on a traffic-free road. The breakfast, which was included in...
