Food was alright, a bit pricey but understandable in this remote part of the country. Can't comment too much more due to our quick stop just for fuel & a quick bite to eat. We would stop again when we cross the Nullahbor again.

Yes, it is pet friendly. The motel room we stayed in smelt of dog and we were told that they allowed pets in some of the rooms. It's pretty much anything goes and the rules are made up on the spot.
