We were meeting a very old German friend & had heard that this restaurant was good. They reserved a lovely table in the shade for us on another scorching hot & humid day. Excellent selection of aperitifs whilst we thought about the lunch choices. Felchen fillets seemed a good choice, albeit I had Veal fillet. Ursula had a lovely looking mixed salad. We were all pleased with our choices, the service & lovely Muller Thurgau wine completed a great main course. My only slight negative, is not being a great lover of Ice-cream or dessert cakes, the only other option was a cheeseboard. None of which inspired me. Loads of choices of Ice-cream, & cakes, but my cake was far too sickly sweet. Maybe that’s what the Germans love?! Great value for money though, great setting, good service, but if you haven’t a sweet tooth, don’t bother with dessert, imo!

Stay here 2 nights, at 2 different occasions, high service, and good quality off the breakfast, staff, and friendliness. The rooms do not have AC - very warm rooms the first nights - late June -19 - but that goes for the whole of middle Europe those days. Not impressed by the wifi.

We had lunch here 49 years ago and I always dreamed of coming back and staying here. Red geraniums always make me think of this wonderful place. It was as I remembered. Lindau is the most relaxed little town and the hotel didn’t disappoint. Our room was spacious and very clean and modern. The only downside of the room was no air conditioning, when we thought it would have it. They did provide a fan which made it fine. Parking was hilarious, the places were so small that you couldn’t open the doors, so my husband climbed through the back and then came back to the hotel and they found another place for him to park, which was an employee parking at the sister hotel. They really were very nice and tried to come up with a solution which they did. The food in the restaurant was delicious! I loved just sitting at the outside dining area! I would go back again and again.

My first stay in Reutemann for a brief holiday of 3 nights. I must say that my initial experience during communicating with the hotel was quite good, responses were fast and efficient, there seemed to be a duty of care, but that is where it perhaps ended. I must say that at 117 Euros per night, for a small, cramped room, with a blocked window view and with the smallest bed ever to get banged and knocked, and that too with a breakfast.....this was an absolute rip off. In my world travel several year, have never been subjected to so much of cramped space paying quite high I must say in the town of Lindau. The hotel though is impeccably maintained, very neat and clean and staffed quite adequately. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows were as good as non existent, loud noise from the adjacent room entire night, people shouting and chatting through the whole night, reception inefficient and not doing anything, insulation of the rooms poor - you can hear the toilet flushing, noise coming through and a bed which is so small and cramped that you are better off sleeping on the floor. When complained to the reception, a callous "sorry" was just the answer without making any efforts to do something. No coffee/tea maker in the room, not even a complimentary bottle of water. Complete rip off and disaster. Not coming back ever again. The only silver lining....Jonas the restaurant steward who with his impeccable service, attitude and customer service makes you come back and want more. Utterly frustrated and disappointed, A very uncomfortable stay which marred the entire vacation Thanks

Situated right on the harbour front. This terrace cafe is perfect for down time and people watching on the bustling Bodensee front. We had some delicious ice creams and coffee. The interior of the hotel is plush and i would imagine you would have a very comfortable stay there but i guarantee at a price as this looks like one of Lindaus' more expensive establishments. Lovely to visit.
