Excellent hotel! The hotel was centrally located. The food was amazing and the service was spectacular. The owners treated us beautifully, they were concerned about every detail for us to be comfortable The rooms were really nice and comfortable. We highly recommended it!!!

Favourite for years, Clemenz and Annie Gemmett greet one as a long-lost friend even though it is only every other year one returns. Sited at a corner of the ancient town of Brig, above the market place - with plethora of other restaurant options, watched over by the protective looking Glishorn mountain, settled at the foot of the great Simplon...

Great hotel right in the center of Brig. Christian (the proprietor) was fantastic, going out of his way to accommodate us. He also encouraged a walk around town in the evening which was great. Breakfast was the traditional Swiss kind except - served at our table rather than a buffet.

Perfect for a short stay (of 1 or 2 nights) Very central / the entrance is a bit tricky to find (almost "behind the building") Breakfast is simple but fine (in a nice "typical" room) The host is a very friendly gentleman who speaks English and engages with the guests Only problem: pity that the wifi did not work very...

On a recent business trip this hotel was my choice in Brig. Brig is a small destination; midway between Geneva and Milan by rail. A good place to break a rail journey; also a great place for a walking holiday in summer and skiing in winter. remember that this town is basically German speaking. If you normally converse in English...

The atmospere was alsonot pleasant at all, staff members always looked stressful and the owners are very annoying ( they did not even let us...

A fairly basic old fashioned place. I'm not sure how it compares to others in Brig as far as value or room quality go. Next time I would hunt around to see if we could find something a bit more upmarket and better value. It is well located to the station and we had a back room with little noise...

The Hotel Du Pont is a very traditional hotel in the upper center of the old town of Brig. The rooms are clean and nice and I can recommend it for family and business. The restaurant serves nice food and local specialties. Free WiFi, with lost of users for meetings not fast enough but for private very much OK. Underground...

Brig is surrounded by mountains and has many buildings of character. The Du Pont is located in a bustling pedestrianised square containing shops and cafes just a short walk up from the train station. The host was very genial and made us welcome. Our room was quite large and gave views to the mountains beyond. The room furniture was aged...

First, the town of Brig is lovely, fresh with some beautiful old buildings and towered over by mountains. There was a festival in the center of town the night we got there. It was a good choice for stopping overnight. To get to the hotel from the train station, it's just straight south into town on the road that runs...
