This is a very comfortable and easy going place to stay. Parking and wifi included, and comfortable bed. Everyone was great and polite. We enjoyed staying here in the old town for a night. We'd recommend the old town over the port which is a bit dull.

We turned up here for one night and the room we were given was a large self contained suite with kitchen and dining area, great for us as we were on a motorbike with loads of gear. Room was clean, bed very comfortable, staff so helpful. We ate in their restaurant that evening and the food was very good with...

My wife, and both children, were put in here by the RAC when our vehicle broken down in Switzerland. We stayed for 3 nights. We were made to feel very welcome from when we arrived with our belongings in many carrier bags, right through to when we departed. The family room over looking the garden was excellent. Large, with beds,...

Stayed here during a cycle tour of the Neuchatel Lake. It's a large family run hotel which is a stones-throw from the centre of Estavayer-le-Lac and a short walk down to the harbour. Evening Dinner menu was so good I ordered two mains and wasn't disappointed! Breakfast was included in my booking and was the standard continental. WiFi was free...

Quiet, clean, simple, pleasant little hotel in the historic village of Estavayer. My brother and I spent 2 nights at the Hotel du Port. No complaints. Good value for the money. The free breakfast was great - fresh coffee, pastries, fruit, and cheese. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We felt really welcome - despite our poor French skills....

We are travelling with two dogs, which limits our choice of hotels slightly. Besides we have signed up for a sailing & motorboat school (Alpha Voile), which keeps us busy during the whole stay. The first room we had been sent to was truly horrible - for all the reasons the other guests have referred to: In house disco with...

the food was digusting, the decor is from another century (50 decades ago at least...). 3 fishs meal had no taste (frozen food) and safran pretending sauce horrible. Gambas and rice too salty was not eatable. Terrible waitress on top of it, making the service very unhelpful. Only the salad bar is ok.

Quaint, friendly hotel conveniently located near Lake Neuchatel. Henri and Terese the proprietors are friendly and make sure all guests feel as if they were at home. The food is terrific and the hotel features a nightclub on premises which is always full of energy and good times.

“The rooms to the street are noisy, as this is the main and only road to the beach and to the port. So go for the "garden view" instead and you should be fine. The rooms are functional and clean, but you should not expect 4 stars and up standard. You have free WLan access, TV, Telephone and minibar. Some of the rooms have a balkony, which is very nice - not only if you are travelling with dogs.”
