It will certainly become my habitual lodging when visiting Pontresina whether alone or with my partner, for it's positive price/quality offer. Attentive service, not noisy (better last floor rooms), south rooms have wonderful light and view, excellent breakfast, spa near by for evening relax (when the hotel sauna is not in service). Take into account that on a 2 nights...

I recommend this hotel for people who enjoy to eat breakfast. They have the widest variety of bread and cheese in our 7 hotels serving breakfast in our travel in Switzerland. It was very regrettable for me that I couldn't try all bread and cheese in our only one night stay. If you are not a gourmand, you should stay...

We stayed in the Hotel Post in July 2013 and enjoyed a compfortable double room with bathroom/shower. The hotel reception is very friendly and the breakfast is about what one would expect. In summer the restaurant on the terrace with grill offers the best value and best views in all of Pontresina.

We were picked up at the train station by the owner which was a nice surprise being that we had alot of ski gear with us. Hotel was nice and quiet and in the center of Town with easy...

Interior is dated (1970s style), but that is typical in Switzerland where refurbishment costs are often prohibitive for a small family-owned place. Owners are friendly and speak good English. Located right in the centre of Pontresina with commanding views of the valley below. Rooms are clean and spacious. Building itself has character, if the interior were redone it could be...

Stayed here for one night on a tour around the Engadine. Hotel was very expensive (exchange rate was eye watering). Room was very large but with very dated fittings (1970's). Large bathroom. Public areas lovely and the owner spoke perfect English. Restaurant had absolutely no atmosphere, with no background music at all. Would have liked the fixed price menu but...

After reading through a number of reviews of hotels in the St Moritz area and neighbouring villages, my wife & I settled on Hotel Post. To begin, Pontresina is a stone's throw from St Moritz and offers a 10 minute ride to Celerina, one of the best slopes in the area. Parking was adequate, location was fantastic - smack-bang in...

For Swiss (expensive) standards, this middle class hotel offers very good value for your money. The hotel has been owned by the same family for a few generations, and you notice this in the atmosphere. It is an "old" hotel, charming and in good shape as well as very clean, but lacks some modern facilities like an elevator (they will...
