To not have to spend the extensive money needed in St Mortiz we tried Bernina 1865. It is about 10 min drive from St Mortiz. The lobby is large and not that nice, but the rooms and the corridors are much better. The rooms are decorated mainly with wooden furniture and are quite large. The highlight of the stay was...

dismayed by the St Moritz prices we decided to stay in Samedan. An opportunity arose to secure the Hotel Bernina at a very good discounted rate, we are sooooo happy we snapped it up. The hotel is an older style but beautifully furnished in a traditional style. It was literally the end of the ski season, we enjoyed lots of...

There were five of us on our recent stay. We had three rooms, all of which were excellent. We all had jacuzi style baths which really were brilliant. The hotel was very welcoming and accomodating for all our needs. One night we stayed in the bar and enjoyed the wide array of snacks available, all of which went down very very well....

Chosen in the spur of the moment as a two night layover near St Moritz, upon entering the foyer of this hotel we felt as though we had stepped back to a time where quality of presentation and service really mattered at a personal level. While the hotel is a mere five minute walk from the station, it's worth noting...

As there were a lot of us, we opted for the suites on the top floor. Not a good idea - they are sparsely furnished and terribly underequipped for a purportedly four-star hotel : rough wooden furniture, no decoration whatsoever, hopelessly inadequate lighting, no wardrobe at all in one of the bedrooms. The mattresses were way too short - for...

This is a lovely hotel in a village less than ten minutes by train to St Moritz. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Our room had a lovely view of the mountains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was amazing, bright and spacious with a good selection of food which was constantly being replenished. You could...

This hotel is in the beautiful village of Samedan just outside of St Moritz. It was remarkably well priced for a hotel of it's quality in the one of the most expensive ski resorts in the world. It is steeped in history with well appointed rooms and a rustic feel. The only suggestion for improvement is the bed comfort. The...

Located close to all the skiing areas around St. Moritz this is a very nice and comfortable hotel with nicely decorated spacious rooms. The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is terrific with a very tasty selection of meat, pasta, local food and deserts. There is a shuttle service from the hotel to the nearby skiing...

We have spent two nights at this hotel. I cannot speak highly enough of the place. Everything has been faultless from the staff, the room, the facilities and the restaurants. I must recommend both Angela at the front desk and Roberto Ferrari in the restaurant. These two people have provided us with exemplary service at all times and have made...
