We used the Hayloft as 'basecamp' for our 3-day hikingtrip. The first night we stayed with six friends in one big room which actually used to be the hayloft of the house. After our 3 day-trip we stayed in 3 separate rooms. The entire b&b is renovated and decorated real cosy and with great respect for the original features of... More

The Hayloft was highly recommended and we weren't disappointed in the slightest. Peter and Kerry are the perfect hosts and made our stay just that bit more wonderful! Very comfortable room for all the family, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Breakfast was cracking and made all the better for great conversation. We were sad to leave and can't wait to... More

The Hayloft is a little slice of heaven. It is situated in a stunning valley, has hiking trails on it's doorstep and the rooms are comfortable. The house is impeccably cared for by Kerry and Peter as well as the guests that descend on them. Nothing was too much to ask and we were made to feel at home from... More

I loved everything about it. The house, the room, the view, the bathroom, breakfast.. Everything was perfect. As been said a dozen times before: Kerry and Peter are incredible hosts. They have many great stories and a good sense of humor. I laughed a lot and felt at home. Thanks for the amazing experience!

Kerry and Peter made me feel so comfortable on my solo trip to Kandersteg. They offered great advice on hiking trails and restaurants that I would enjoy. I truly felt at... More

We had a wonderful stay. Kerry and Peter welcomed us as friends. The hayloft is a beautiful renovated house within walking distance to the center of Kandersteg. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast and dinner were absolutely wonderful. Thank you Kerry and Peter! We will come back for the kletersteig and for all the laughs and jokes we had!

Kerry and Peter are fantastic hosts. Staying with them was among the top experiences of Switzerland. Food was excellent. Wood heated Hot tub was enchanting in the evening. So nice not to be surrounded by too many tourists. We want to go back to the hayloft again. Absolutely fantastic.

We stayed as a family (3 boys) in early Aug 16. We had a fantastic 3 day stay at the Hayloft in the family room. Peter and Kerry were the most accommodating hosts right from the start with great communications and recommendations on activities via email prior to our trip, Peter picking us up at the station, and that was... We spent two memorable nights at the Hayloft with our delightful hosts, enjoying great food and the charm of a historic and beautifully decorated home. The location in Kandersteg is amazing too, with mountain views and a waterfall almost in the backyard.
